Taylor Swift’s fans believe they’ve calculated the bonuses given to her Eras Tour dancers, following a touching moment in her new documentary where the dancers were visibly emotional upon learning the amount.

The 36-year-old singer achieved a historic milestone, reaching over $2 billion in ticket sales throughout her 21-month Eras Tour. The tour included an impressive 149 shows across 21 different countries.

Taylor reportedly gave her tour team over $197 million in bonuses as a thank you for their hard work.

In a clip from the documentary series, dancer Kameron Saunders reads a private message from Taylor that shares how much of a bonus a mystery person received – the exact amount is hidden with a sound effect.

One dancer reportedly almost passed out when opening his letter.

People have been rewatching footage and lip-reading what Kam said, and they now believe each dancer received a substantial $750,000.

On X, people started talking about an unusually long sound, with some joking that it was worth a lot of money – potentially over six figures.

A $750,000 bonus is an incredibly high amount, especially when most professional dancers earn around $140,000 annually with consistent, full-time work.

The bonus was given to a wide range of people who worked on the project, including truck drivers, catering staff, instrument technicians, the merchandise team, lighting and sound crews, production and assistant staff, carpenters, dancers, the band, security personnel, choreographers, pyrotechnics experts, riggers, and the hair, make-up, and wardrobe teams. Physical therapists and video team members also received a bonus.

Taylor gathered her dancers in a circle on bonus day and asked them to all open a surprise message she’d placed on their cars at the same time.

This news follows a previous report that she gave her truck drivers $100,000 in bonuses. These drivers transported her tour equipment across the United States.

According to TMZ, she gave substantial six-figure bonuses to employees in Santa Clara, California.

As a longtime fan, I remember reading that about 50 truck drivers were working on the US portion of the tour. If the reports are true that she gave each of them a $100,000 bonus, that would mean she paid out over $5 million just to those drivers – it was a seriously generous gesture!

Taylor Swift recently revealed she splurged on something for her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on December 10th, using money she earned from her successful Eras Tour.

As Taylor told Stephen, she finally bought back her master recordings.

I used the money I earned from the Eras Tour to buy back the rights to my music. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the support of my fans, so that’s how I chose to spend it,” the singer explained.

Okay, seriously, Taylor was talking about how EVERYTHING good happening in her life right now is because of The Eras Tour! She basically said she’d never have met Travis if it weren’t for the tour, and even more amazingly, she wouldn’t have been able to reclaim ownership of her music! It’s like, the tour didn’t just give us incredible shows, it literally changed her life! I’m obsessed!

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour ran for almost two years, from March 17, 2023, to December 8, 2024—a span of 632 days—and earned over $2 billion from ticket sales, making it incredibly successful.

I’ve been following Taylor and Travis’s relationship since the very beginning! It’s so cute how it all started – Travis tried to give Taylor a friendship bracelet at her concert last summer, but wasn’t able to. He actually talked about it on his podcast, which was so brave, and thankfully, it caught Taylor’s attention!
