Taylor Swift clarifies some peculiar speculation regarding her connection with Travis Kelce by addressing one of the most unusual rumors to circulate.
During a recent chat with her boyfriend and his brother Jason Kelce on their New Heights podcast, the 35-year-old pop star clarified rumors suggesting she had worn a bear costume for the filming of Happy Gilmore 2 featuring Adam Sandler.
During the show, Travis and I had an exchange where we shared something with each other. I said, “By the way, didn’t I tell you about the bear role I got?” To which he replied, “Oh yeah, I heard about the house purchase in Lake Como.” Swift later joked about it, admiring the performance of the person who portrayed the bear.

In this movie, Kelce, in a delightful twist, plays a waiter who finds himself rather sticky – covered in honey, no less! The situation takes a turn for the wild when he encounters a bear, leading to quite the spectacle online. Some eagle-eyed fans even speculated that the 14-time Grammy winner might have been the mastermind behind the furry costume! Quite the mystery, isn’t it?
Swift laughed off the rumors, but admitted she was flattered.
She stated that she could refute the rumor. However, given the situation, it’s not surprising people believe she’s wearing the bear costume. She’s flattered to be associated with such a role because she adores that film and has watched it numerous times.
Additionally, the performer gave a nod of appreciation to Bad Bunny, the actor who brought to life the role that involved covering the Kansas City Chiefs superstar in honey on screen.
She was thoroughly entertained by him in that film, gushing about it. He’s outstanding; his comedic delivery is spot-on.
The idea emerged that Swift secretly appeared in the movie, following her posting a positive endorsement of Happy Gilmore 2 on her social media platforms.
She expressed on her Instagram Story last month that ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ left her laughing heartily and cheering throughout the entire film. She strongly recommends watching it, giving it a score of 13 out of 10, and urges everyone to stream it immediately on Netflix.
She even added a honey emoji, making a sly reference to a scene.
Tracy Morgan’s guest role is among various famous faces in Sandler’s golf movie sequel, also starring Kid Cudi, Nick Swardson, Eminem, Post Malone, Margaret Qualley, as well as recurring actors Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, and Ben Stiller. In simpler terms, during one of her concerts from her Eras Tour in July 2023, the public got a unique peek into how their relationship developed over time, as the couple decided to share this aspect with everyone.
