It seems that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have no immediate plans for engagement, as a source suggests that ongoing fan speculation has taken away from any potential private, special moment they might have had.

Earlier this month, Travis’ brother Jason unintentionally stirred up gossip when he didn’t correct a statement about Taylor being his “brother’s wife” during a radio interview.

But despite the relentless chatter about wedding bells, a source close to Taylor and Travis, both 34, has dashed all hopes of the couple exchanging vows – for now.

According to their statement, the constant conjecture has stripped any significance from a possible proposal, and they emphasized that it wouldn’t seem genuine if the NFL champion were to propose soon due to all the speculation surrounding it.

They mentioned that at this stage, an engagement between Taylor and Travis might seem somewhat unnatural or insincere.

From the start of their partnership, there’s been plenty of chatter about them taking their bond to the next level by proposing and tying the knot.

According to the source, it’s been suggested that the couple, who became acquainted last July, have contemplated getting married as they envision their future together. NFL analyst Adam Schefter added fuel to the speculation by subtly suggesting that Travis might have bought an engagement ring.

In a playful manner, well-known sports journalist Adam teased ESPN anchor Laura Rutledge when she commented on Travis purchasing a horse named after Taylor Swift, by humorously suggesting that he still hasn’t bought an engagement ring.

He paused for a moment and asked, “Hold on, I’ve got a query for you, Laura. Can you explain to me how you came to the conclusion that Travis Kelce didn’t purchase an engagement ring?

She replied: ‘I don’t know. Do you know? Are you gonna break some big news here?’

Adam hesitated, looking a bit shy, before asking, “You mentioned that he hadn’t purchased an engagement ring. I’m curious as to where you got that information from.

Twice an NFL champion, Booger McFarland commented: “Hold on, hold on, hold on… The heavy silence just now says a lot. Schefty, are you privy to some information that the rest of America is curious about?

However, Adam explained, ‘I was merely inquiring about how Laura knew he hadn’t purchased an engagement ring. That was the extent of my actions.’

Lately, Jason didn’t correct Taylor when she was called his “sister-in-law.

In a conversation on Philadelphia’s 94WIP Morning Show, someone inquired about Jason if his future sister-in-law had numerous victories at the Video Music Awards the previous night.

Jason’s silence about the description of Swift led unintentionally to a surge of rumors regarding his brother’s marriage with his girlfriend.
