Taylor Sheridan & Sylvester Stallone’s Gritty Crime Series Gets Exciting Season 4 Return Update Ahead Of New Spinoff

Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone, brought us the popular Paramount+ series Tulsa King, which first aired in 2022. The show recently returned for its third season last fall, and filming for season 4 began in November. However, there was no announced release date for the new episodes starring Sylvester Stallone.

Although there’s no official premiere date yet, Sylvester Stallone announced on Instagram that filming for season 4 of Tulsa King is finished. He called it “the best season yet” and expressed his gratitude for the cast and crew in the post, which included a video of him giving an inspiring speech on set.

Garrett Hedlund, who starred alongside Stallone, also marked the end of filming with a post on Instagram. He shared a picture of himself with a smiling Stallone and praised the dedication of the entire cast and crew.

“That is an official wrap on TULSA KING SEASON 4,” Hedlund writes. “What a cast! What a crew!!!“

Now that filming for season 4 is finished, we can likely expect it to be released in 2026. Season 3 filmed and premiered within the same year – from March to August, and then in September – so if season 4 follows that timeline, it shouldn’t be long before it’s available.

As production finishes on season four of Tulsa King, the universe created by Taylor Sheridan is growing. Samuel L. Jackson will star in Frisco King, a new series also created by Sheridan, which will stream on Paramount+.

While the main series focuses on Sylvester Stallone’s character, Dwight Manfredi, and his rise to power in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the new show, Frisco King, will center around Treacher Russell’s Randall Lee Washington Jr. Randall, a skilled hitman who first appeared in season 3 of Tulsa King, will be the focus as he tries to establish his own criminal organization in a suburb of Dallas.

The fourth season of Tulsa King, when it returns, will likely have 10 episodes, continuing the show’s usual format. Alongside Sylvester Stallone and Garrett Hedlund, familiar faces like Martin Starr, Jay Will, and Dana Delaney will also be back.

Now that filming is finished, we can expect a trailer for season 4 of Tulsa King soon. The trailer will likely announce when the new season will premiere, which fans will be excited to hear after the dramatic ending of season 3.
