Taylor Frankie Paul’s former partner, Dakota Mortensen, claims she physically assaulted him, alleging she scratched, shoved, and hit him during a recent incident.
Police began looking into an alleged domestic assault on February 23rd involving 31-year-old reality TV star, known from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and her 33-year-old former boyfriend.
The police report states that Mortensen reported being physically assaulted twice, describing the attacks as involving grabbing, scratching, shoving, and hitting.
This comes shortly after Mortensen filed a protective order against his ex-girlfriend.
According to a police report obtained by People magazine, authorities went to a home in Draper after a friend reported that Viggo Mortensen had been assaulted by a former girlfriend.
He also explained to the police that he hesitated to report what happened because the reality star was so well-known.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Paul and Mortensen for comment.
The report also noted that the police obtained photographs of Mortensen’s ‘neck scratches.’
The report detailed the police’s continuing investigation of a domestic violence claim that happened in front of a child.
Police haven’t filed any charges and haven’t released the name of the person they suspect, according to the news source.
This new development follows reports that the reality TV personality and her former partner are both being investigated for domestic violence by two different police departments in Utah.
Draper City Police are investigating a case of domestic assault involving the former couple and their youngest child.
The couple share one child, their two-year-old son Ever.
Paul has two children: eight-year-old Indy and five-year-old Ocean, from her previous marriage to Tate Paul.
The West Jordan Police Department is also looking into a separate incident of domestic violence involving Paul and Mortensen.
In addition to the existing legal issues, Mortensen requested a protective order against Paul on March 19th, and a court hearing regarding this request is scheduled for April 7th.
Paul faced arrest in 2023 following accusations of domestic violence. She was alleged to have thrown metal chairs at her partner, an incident captured in a video that quickly spread online and led to the cancellation of her season on The Bachelorette.
Okay, so I’ve been following this for ages, and it’s just… a lot. Apparently, she faced some serious charges – assault, damaging property, and even domestic violence while a kid was around. It was awful. She eventually took a plea deal, admitting guilt to a more serious form of assault, but it was kind of a conditional thing, you know? Like, if she stays out of trouble, it won’t fully go on her record. It’s still scary, though. I just… I can’t believe it.
She is still on probation from a 2023 case, and new investigations by different Utah police departments could impact her probation status.
