Taylor Frankie Paul under investigation for THIRD domestic violence claim made by Dakota Mortensen

Taylor Frankie Paul is facing another investigation regarding allegations of domestic violence from her former partner, Dakota Mortensen. This is the third claim made by Mortensen.

According to West Jordan, Utah police, Mortensen claimed Paul committed domestic violence in an incident that happened in 2024, as reported by NBC News.

We don’t have many details about what happened, but the spokesperson said Mortensen reached out to them about it last month.

The department is currently examining several videos related to the reported incident to establish what happened and when.

Currently, the police are relying solely on Mortensen’s account of what happened and haven’t spoken to Paul yet. However, Paul’s lawyers are in touch with the investigators.

Paul’s representatives didn’t offer a statement. The Daily Mail also reached out to Mortensen and the West Jordan, Utah police for comment, but hadn’t received a response as of yet.

The upcoming season of The Bachelorette featuring Paul was canceled shortly before it was scheduled to air. This came after a video from 2023 surfaced showing Paul, age 31, physically assaulting a 33-year-old woman, Mortensen, while her young daughter, Indy, was present.

Everyone knew about that case for years before police started a new investigation this February, claiming something happened involving domestic violence.

On Friday, Mortensen obtained a restraining order against Paul, stating she posed an immediate danger to his well-being.

The reality TV personality, known from the Hulu show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, spoke out after the show was canceled, claiming she endured years of ‘severe mental and physical abuse and threats’ without revealing it publicly.

Taylor is now ready to confront the person accusing her and is taking measures to protect herself and her children from future harm, according to her representative.

They also stated that Paul has remained silent because she fears more mistreatment, revenge, and embarrassment, and is now getting help, considering her choices, and getting ready to tell her side of the story.

Mortensen has refuted recent, unsubstantiated allegations regarding himself and his relationship, according to a statement given to The Daily Mail.

Okay, so he finally spoke out, and honestly, it broke my heart to hear him even acknowledge this mess! He said, and I’m quoting because every word is precious, that if anyone’s seen the video – and of course I have, multiple times – they’ll know how awful this whole thing is. He also said he’s sadly become used to these ridiculous lies people spread about him and their relationship, and he just completely shut them down, denying everything. It’s just…ugh. I knew he’d tell the truth, I knew it, but hearing it still doesn’t make it any easier.

‘I am focusing on our son and his safety, and hope that Taylor will do the same.’
