Tayla Damir: Love Island star and AFL WAG suffers gruesome injury after falling down a flight of stairs
As someone who has followed Tayla Damir‘s journey, I can’t help but feel for her as she navigates yet another health hurdle. Her life is a rollercoaster of ups and downs, with more twists and turns than a Melbourne freeway during rush hour!
On Friday, Tayla Damir had an unexpected fall down the stairs, causing her to experience discomfort due to a sudden back injury.
27-year-old AFL WAG shared on Instagram an image showing the aftermath of some harm she endured, briefly lifting her top to expose a scrape along her backbone and the start of a sizable bruise.
In the title of a seemingly painful image, the ex-Love Island celebrity, wedded to footballer Nathan Broad, stated that she experienced discomfort in her hips, tailbone, ribcage, and back.
Initially, Tayla shared a picture in her post detailing an incident, which showed a recently delivered hot waist belt – a public relations gift – that she was wearing when she tumbled down some steps.
‘The timing of this is impeccable. My period just graced me and I fell down a set of stairs straight onto my back half an hour ago. So let’s see how good this is,’ she said.
The subsequent picture she posted on her Stories showed the severity of her back injury, which she described as follows: “Here’s what tumbling down stairs actually looks like.”
I’m really feeling it in my hips, tailbone, ribs, and back right now. The pain has never been worse, but I’ve got a Myer Ball session later on. If you notice me walking awkwardly or limping, just know that’s the reason behind it.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Tayla for comment.

A few months ago, Tayla received an unanticipated health report during her doctor’s appointment.
Previously known television personality shared on Instagram in May that she had visited a doctor due to the sudden appearance of blisters across her hands.
Taylor, a resident of Melbourne, shared that she was surprisingly informed she had developed a ‘mild instance of frostbite’ by not wearing gloves while pushing her daughter Samara’s stroller in the cold weather.

Sharing the surprising news, she wrote: ‘Lol, I am embarrassed for myself. I woke up a few days ago with blisters all over my hands so I booked in to see my doctor.
It seems I’ve developed a mild form of frostbite. During my morning strolls, I failed to protect my hands while pushing the pram and they ended up freezing due to the cold.
‘I have to wear gloves for a few weeks until it calms down hahaha.’
Frostbite is an injury caused by the freezing of the skin and underlying tissue, with its early stages referred to as frostnip.
Tayla is currently raising her nine-month-old daughter Samara alongside her AFL player spouse Nathan, who they married in October 2022.
