Why is She-Hulk’s MCU future in doubt?
A recent report from My Time to Shine indicates Marvel Studios wants She-Hulk to play a significant role in the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars movie. However, the report also states that actress Tatiana Maslany is currently unwilling to work with Disney.
It’s unclear if the situation will improve, but the report suggests that if Disney can’t persuade her to come back, they’ll either have to find a new actor to play the role or cut the character from their upcoming projects.
Although the exact reasons aren’t known, actress Tatiana Maslany has publicly criticized Disney this year. In September, she joined other actors in calling for a boycott of Disney+ and Hulu after ABC, which is owned by Disney, suspended Jimmy Fallon for a week.
Maslany has publicly voiced her support for Palestine and urged her followers to cancel their Disney+ subscriptions because the company is on the “BDS list.” This list identifies products that supporters of the Palestinian cause recommend boycotting due to their connections with Israel.
