Taskmaster star Mae Martin has announced their debut album, I’m a TV, as well as a live tour.
In 2023, the comedian who triumphed in the 15th season of Channel 4’s show revealed this month that they will delve into the realm of music for their upcoming endeavor. The celebrity has been hinting at this new project on various social media platforms.
The album is officially announced and is set to drop on February 27th. Kick-starting the tour a day earlier, it begins at The Regent Theater in Los Angeles, while its only UK date will be at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on March 9th.

The upcoming tour, visiting both Toronto and New York City, provides fans an exclusive chance to interact with Martin’s talent in a personal, live environment. Tickets for this event will be available starting January 29th, at 10 am.
According to the given description, “I’m a TV” signifies a substantial extension of Martin’s creative work. This platform allows them to share their unique indie rock style, offering a refreshing yet nostalgic portrayal of millennial life, for the first time live to audiences. Yet, it maintains their characteristic wit, transparency, and deeply personal storytelling.

1st Fan: Oh boy, I truly regret not being able to attend any of your shows! Here’s hoping you’ll grace the stage in San Francisco once more – this time as Rockstar Mae instead of Stand-up Mae!
2nd Fan: It’s a toss-up between music or comedy, but either way, we can’t wait to be there! 🤩🤩🤩
3rd Fan: Whether it’s comic music or just a mix of both, count us in! 🎉🎉🎉
A fourth spectator exclaimed, “Wow, wow, wow, I’m already there!” In response, a fifth fan added, “The first two tracks have been spinning non-stop at our place this weekend. They’re fantastic! I can hardly wait for the full album. If you decide to extend your tour to Colorado, we’ll be sure to attend.😎
The dates for the I’m a TV tour are as follows, with tickets available here:
February 26: The Regent Theater, Los Angeles
March 1: The Danforth Music Hall, Toronto
March 4: Gramercy Theatre, New York City
March 9: O2 Forum Kentish Town, London
