Taskmaster’s Daisy May Cooper thinks she’s haunted by This Country co-star
As a seasoned gamer and a fervent fan of supernatural tales, I find Daisy May Cooper‘s experiences with ghostly encounters absolutely captivating! Her life seems to be brimming with paranormal events that could rival any horror game or movie out there.
This Country star Daisy May Cooper believes she’s being haunted by the ghost of her late co-star.
In an interview with Radio Times, Daisy shared that she encountered two peculiar occurrences: once, there was a loud knocking at her bedroom door, and on another occasion, her blanket detached from the bed.
Daisy thinks it could be her deceased friend Michael Sleggs, who had promised to return, who is responsible for the mysterious events.
She explained: “This knocking at the door wasn’t a normal kind – there was a rhythm and me and my partner just looked at each other… I’m sure it was him [Sleggs].
It’s highly likely that he, being the one with whom I have a strong bond, would return to tell me about whatever exists beyond death if anyone could do so.
To be clear, his departure left quite an impression. I asked him to return, assuring him I’d be anxious, something he finds amusing, and I firmly believe he’ll keep his word due to this.
The Taskmaster star has had so many supernatural experiences she’s written a book titled Hexy Bitch, which hits shelves on October 24.
Previously, Daisy disclosed that she had undergone an extremely frightening encounter with a ghost which compelled her to vacate her residence.
Daisy shared on the BBC’s “Uncanny” podcast that her rural home’s uppermost room, used as an extra space, was the location where she encountered several unusual incidents.
During a single-night stay, Sarah’s friend heard something that resembled a break-in at the residence, causing her such alarm that she promptly called her boyfriend for help.
I’ve got to share an intriguing tale with you all. Ever since I’ve been lodging in this very room, it seems like everyone who’s stayed here has had a chilling encounter – be it hearing ghostly whispers, catching whiffs of mysterious cigarettes, the sudden activation of the shower, or even sightings of spectral figures lurking around. Quite a spooky experience, wouldn’t you agree?
She also revealed that the pictures on the walls in the room moved around by themselves, like: “Somebody has taken them off and placed them in different places.”
Daisy further clarified that her housekeeper had texted her about an unusual incident. The housekeeper claimed to have spotted a man wearing Roman attire within their home while they were away, and also mentioned hearing a youngster scampering about.
She laughed and admitted it was absurd, yet she knew others might find it silly or foolish when she said it. But, she insisted, what she experienced was truly terrifying, and the noise that followed was bone-chilling.
“I can’t ever get the sound out of my head. It was horrible.”
The popular show, Taskmaster, is back for its series 18 on Thursday, September 12, at 9pm. You can catch it both on television and streaming platforms, specifically on Channel 4. Excitingly, a spinoff of the show titled Junior Taskmaster has also been announced!
