Taskmaster star’s returning BBC comedy unveils new trailer

Daisy May Cooper’s BBC comedy has unveiled a new trailer for season two.

Starting February 5, we’ll have “Am I Being Unreasonable” back on your screens, continuing the storyline from where it left off last season. Character Nic (played by Cooper) is grappling with personal family troubles and dealing with the repercussions of her brother-in-law’s murder.

In the trailer for season two, we find Nic and her spouse Dan attending an uncomfortable counseling session together. They reminisce about their brief separation, which is depicted in a succession of flashbacks as a tumultuous period of seven days.

The official summary hints that Nic may have gotten away with murder. It also suggests that she might be leading her son, Ollie, down a questionable path similar to her own. According to the storyline, due to a misplaced affection for her brother, Nic is forced out of their family home and ends up living in a caravan with her dubious friend Jen.

In a more straightforward manner: “Nic’s spouse Dan has recently taken up rollerblading to cope with his midlife crisis. Struggling at school pickups and portrayed as a witch during the school play, Nic seems to be having vivid imaginations or perhaps someone is pranking her.

In the flashback, Nic expresses his feelings by saying, “I feel as if I’m losing my mind.” However, when speaking with the therapist, he attempts to minimize the turmoil.

The trailer presents Chelsea Peretti, a cast member from Brooklyn Nine-Nine, in her role as the therapist. Joining the show for its second season are six fresh faces: Tom Davis, known for playing Willy Wonka, Denise Black who’s famous on soap operas, British artist Kojey Radical, rapper and poet, and Jamali Maddix from Taskmaster.

In the gaming world, I’m hyped to witness the digital reunion of my favorite in-game characters, Charlie and Daisy May Cooper, in season two! These screen siblings rocked the mockumentary sitcom This Country together before it went off the air in 2020.

Charlie has just been added to the lineup of fresh personalities that will appear in the next season of “Am I Being Unreasonable.

Is the second season of “Am I Being Unreasonable” coming back to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on February 5? You can watch the first season right now if you’d like.
