Frank Skinner, known for his role on Taskmaster, disclosed that he stealthily tied the knot with his long-time partner Cath Mason, following four unsuccessful proposal attempts.
On this latest installment of his podcast titled “Frank Off The Radio“, the entertainer and radio personality disclosed some personal updates. He announced that he recently got married at Camden Town Hall, with his son Buzz serving as a witness to the ceremony.
Skinner shared with his co-hosts Emily Dean and Pierre Novellie that he had an unexpected event on Monday – he got married. He then joked, “Don’t take it personally, but we didn’t extend any invitations.
Earlier, Skinner shared with The Sun that he’s proposed to Mason on four separate occasions, yet each time she declined his proposal.
Or,
In a conversation with The Sun, Skinner disclosed that he asked Mason for her hand in marriage four different times, but she refused him every time.
Expressing their decision to tie the knot after 24 years as companions, Skinner – a former contestant from season 1 of Taskmaster – shared that Mason had made it explicitly clear that they preferred an unconventional wedding ceremony instead of a traditional one.

As reported by the broadcaster, his future spouse expressed her preferences as follows: “I prefer a small, intimate gathering instead of many guests. I’m against getting married in a church. I also don’t wish to have an engagement ring.
At the wedding, Skinner remarked: “What nobody ever mentions about getting married is it can be quite awkward,” followed by: “Let me explain it this way, it feels somewhat simplistic to get married.
In Skinner’s words, as they made their way down the aisle, Mason was adorned in a floral gown, and the tune of ‘Lie Dream Of A Casino Soul’ by The Fall filled the room from their son’s phone.

“The Fall meant so much to me and Cath when we were in our early days,” he said.
Inquired as to the reason behind their decision to tie the knot now, the comedian humorously responded, ” frankly, I can’t pinpoint the reason. It just struck me, ‘Perhaps since I have an abundance of wealth, I’ll split it with her in five years!’
Skinner mentioned that Mason prefers not to wear a wedding ring as she doesn’t wish to feel confined or restricted.
