Good news for fans of Taskmaster! This Christmas, they can look forward to a special episode featuring past champions. Plus, the show will be back with two extra episodes as a New Year Treat.
The newest installment of the champions series will be the fourth one ever, bringing back popular past winners Sam Campbell, Mathew Baynton, John Robins, and Andy Zaltzman to compete. They’ll be joined by the champion from season 20, who hasn’t been revealed yet.
The episode will likely also feature one of these comedians: Ania Magliano, Maisie Adam, Phil Ellis, Reece Shearsmith, or Sanjeev Bhaskar.

So, Baynton just won the show, and he told everyone his real goal wasn’t just winning this competition – he was aiming for Champion of Champions! That’s awesome, right? He really wanted that next level of competition.
He admitted he started to hope for a win because it would allow him to relive the experience. He explained that the best part of winning is simply getting to do it all over again, as he told Metro.
The popular show Taskmaster recently became available worldwide for the first time through streaming on YouTube, starting with season 20. Alongside the new season, a special spin-off show also launched on YouTube, featuring past contestants competing with their Taskmaster knowledge.
So, everyone’s already hyped for Season 21, and Alex Horne dropped a hint earlier this year that they’ve got a really interesting, even ‘exotic,’ guest coming on the show. I’m super curious to see who it is!
We’re trying something new this season! Besides filming at the house, we’re shooting on location at a really unusual place,” he revealed to Radio Times. “We also have a guest star this season – someone recognizable who comes from a faraway place. That’s all I can share right now.”
Taskmaster airs and streams on Channel 4, with the new specials set to air in the coming months.
