The popular show Taskmaster is returning for a new season, and the lineup of contestants has just been revealed! We’re getting ready for the 21st series on Channel 4 – here’s a look at who will be competing.
Greg Davies and Alex Horne are back for another season, and they’ll be joined by five new comedians. Over the course of the show, one of them will win a special prize.
The new season features Joanna Page, known for Gavin & Stacey, award-winning satirist Armando Iannucci, The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett, actor Kumail Nanjiani, and comedian Amy Gledhill.

The show features competitors who both admire and are intimidated by Greg Davies, and they’re all determined to win the coveted title of Taskmaster Champion – symbolized by his golden head, which is possibly made of solid gold, according to the show’s description.
The creator of the show, Horne, had hinted that a surprising guest star would appear this season, but their identity is still a mystery.

We’re shaking things up this season with a couple of new elements. First, we’re filming in a completely unexpected and wild location, in addition to the house. And we have a special guest joining us this season – someone recognizable from a far-off place. That’s all I can reveal for now!
We don’t have a confirmed release date for season 21 yet, but the show usually airs in March on Channel 4, so we likely won’t have to wait too much longer for more unusual challenges!

I was so excited to hear this news! It’s right after they did that fun little two-part special of New Year Treat with Big Zuu, Jill Scott, Rose Ayling-Ellis, Sam Ryder, and Susie Dent. It was a shorter version of the show, but everyone involved was brilliant!
Prior to the current competition, the fourth edition of Champion of Champions took place, with Mathew Baynton winning against Maisie Adam, Andy Zaltzman, John Robins, and Sam Campbell.
Taskmaster will return with season 21 soon, airing and streaming on Channel 4.
