Taskmaster has confirmed an “epic” new spin-off series that brings back some familiar faces.
As a passionate gamer, I jumped with excitement when I heard about it on my Insta feed! It’s none other than the popular TV show that announced Taskmastermind, a thrilling battle where we old-timers put our wits to the test, demonstrating our deep knowledge of everyone’s favorite show, Taskmaster. Can’t wait to join the fray!
In an upcoming release, the first episode featuring comedians Ed Gamble and Jenny Eclair will be made available on YouTube tonight at 7 pm.

In an introductory video, Alex Horne shared that he would question ex-participants of Taskmaster about their experiences on the show… And so, the fun starts!
Enthusiasts expressed their joy about the series, with one commenter putting it simply: “I’m absolutely ecstatic about this!

“It seems the Taskmasterverse is expanding!” commented one, with another exclaiming: “This promises to be absolutely fantastic!!!” (Simplified and maintain the enthusiasm and excitement in the original.)
As the franchise moves a significant portion of its attention towards YouTube, the upcoming season of the show will debut on this online video platform worldwide for the very first time. Immediately following its airing on Channel 4, it will be available globally.
The show returns for its 20th season on September 11th, featuring competitors Ania Magliano, Phil Ellis, Maisie Adam, Reece Shearsmith, and Sanjeev Bhaskar squaring off against each other.

In July, Horne hinted at the upcoming 21st season, suggesting a captivating guest star of exotic origin.
He shared with Radio Times that there are two novelties for the new season: one, we’re shooting not just at home but also at an incredibly unique location. Two, a guest from an exotic place joins us this season, someone you’ll surely recognize, but I can’t reveal more about it.
Taskmaster is back for season 19 on Thursday, September 11. You can catch it both on television (Channel 4) and online (YouTube).
