Tencent Games has announced that it will be closing its action MMORPG titled Tarisland on November 4 for both Android and iOS devices. Initially revealed in April 2023, the game went into closed beta testing in China shortly after before launching in early access in select regions in June 2023. Following this, it was globally released in June 2024.

Tarisland is an action MMORPG based on the theme of Western fantasy. Here, you can engage in cooperative play for dungeons with up to 5 players or raids with up to 10 players. You also have the freedom to select from multiple classes that boast a wide and customizable talent tree system. The game offers exciting combat against colossal bosses and even features cross-platform compatibility.

Regrettably, Tarisland has shared the news through X (previously known as Twitter) that their game will cease operations on November 4. They expressed, “We appreciate your affection and your unwavering backing,” and additionally stated, “We’re sorry for any trouble this may have caused.

Make sure to utilise your remaining items till the termination date

After the recent announcement, registrations for the game are no longer available, along with in-app purchases. However, you can still play using your current in-game items until the end date. On November 4th, the game will no longer be downloadable, and all game services will cease permanently.

There won’t be an offline version for this game, and you won’t even get any refunds. But you can still contact them with questions at support@tarisglobal.com. It’s really sad that the game is ending so soon, but fans have mixed reactions, with some indifferent and others saddened by the early shutdown.
