Tanner Martin is dead at 30: Influencer announces his own death in video weeks after birth of his first child
The popular influencer Tanner Martin has died at the age of 30.
In an unexpected turn of events, Tanner’s wife, Shay Wright, shared a deeply emotional pre-recorded video on Instagram on Wednesday, which was produced by Tanner himself.
41 days after the arrival of their firstborn daughter, Tanner took leave of his supporters with a heartfelt goodbye.
Five years ago, when the man was diagnosed with colorectal cancer, his journey through hardships was chronicled openly by him and his partner on various social media platforms.
Tanner, with his usual charming grin and endearing manner, spoke straight into the camera, seeming to do so from within a hospice setting.
Hello there, it’s Tanner speaking. In case you’re seeing this message, I regret to inform you that I have passed away. I tried to lighten the situation with a bit of dark humor, as you can see.

He shared that his life had been incredibly challenging. To express his feelings and give everyone an opportunity to share their thoughts, he decided to create this video as a means of announcing his passing. This is something he saw done by someone around a year ago, and he found it to be a thoughtful approach.
Regardless of his jovial exterior, it was evident that his voice was hoarse and strained when he discussed the challenges his wife Shay might face following his untimely passing, only weeks after giving birth to their newborn child.
‘But you guys, life was awesome. I really enjoyed it while I was here,’ Tanner continued.
He expressed optimism that there might be more beyond this point. He seemed eager to encounter certain individuals, and with the same hope, they were already interacting and joking at his expense, he mentioned relatives who had passed away before him.
