Tammy Hembrow reveals she has ‘nothing to do with’ her roided-up brother – after he was found guilty of sickening crimes against his ex-girlfriend

Tammy Hembrow has created distance between herself and her younger brother, Henri Oscar Thynne, following his conviction for offenses against a former partner.

In June, the 21-year-old pled guilty in the Brisbane District Court to common assault, stalking, and two charges of strangulation.

His sister, a fitness influencer aged 31, has cut ties with him. She shared on TikTok earlier this week that she has nothing to do with him’.

She revealed the information in the comments section of a video blog (vlog) she published on Tuesday, which featured her and her kids at the grocery store.

‘How’s your brother?’ a follower wrote beneath the video.

Hembrow replied with two statements. In the first, she wrote: ‘I’m not aware. I don’t have a relationship with my brother, as I’ve said previously, so please don’t involve me.’

‘I wouldn’t know. Nothing to do with me,’ she said in the second message.

Three months ago, Thynne was released from prison after admitting guilt to multiple charges of domestic violence against his former partner.

He received a prison sentence of at least three years, but will be released on June 19th, factoring in the time he’s already spent incarcerated at the Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre, a high-security facility in Queensland.

In court, it was revealed that during an argument while watching a film, Thynne struck her on the head and used a highly offensive slur, calling her a ‘ct‘.

On another occasion, he pushed her against a wall and choked her while saying, ‘I own you.’

The woman who was harmed by Thynne-whose identity we cannot reveal due to legal restrictions-courageously shared a moving victim impact statement, detailing how his actions affected her life.

She started by saying she often worries about being safe in daily life. She added that this has had a long-lasting impact on her life.

You know, before everything happened, I was really thriving. I was a genuinely happy and confident person – that really came through in how I expressed myself, both in person and online. I really enjoyed connecting with people and building relationships – my personality just naturally drew others in, and I loved my social network. It was a great time in my life.

The court heard she was now so fearful that she packed up and moved interstate twice.

‘Since experiencing the abuse and assaults from him, I have changed.

I moved homes twice, even to different states, hoping to find safety, but anxiety and fear followed me everywhere. I constantly worried about being confronted by him, no matter where I went.

Thynne appeared largely impassive while seated in the courtroom, sometimes gently rocking and keeping his head down.

Defence barrister Greg McGuire described the couple’s relationship as ‘odd’, explaining that both partners were bodybuilders and had used steroids during their time together.

According to a medical report, Thynne experienced reduced emotional regulation and flawed decision-making. These issues were linked to long-term, heavy steroid use, which began when he was just 16 years old. The report indicated that this use led to significant impairments in these areas.

Neither of Thynne’s parents – his father, Nathaniel Thynne, and his mother, Nathalie Stanley – were present in court when the sentence was handed down.

Soon after sentencing concluded, the victim posted a stark warning on her social media page.

‘Lock your doors! A criminal has been set free in Brisbane even after pleading guilty to everything!’ the post began.

Just a heads up-he admitted guilt to serious offenses, including sexual assault, assault, two counts of strangulation, and violations of his DVO [domestic violence order] and bail conditions, yet was still granted parole!

The current laws require improvement… this is unsatisfactory, and you can be sure I will be addressing this issue again in the future,” she finished.

Prior to Thynne’s imprisonment last July, he responded to questions on social media after someone asked if his physique was ‘natty’-meaning, if it was achieved naturally, without performance-enhancing drugs.

Rather than giving a simple yes or no, Thynne responded with a meme stating: ‘That’s a nice argument you have there. Unfortunately my muscles are bigger than yours.

He explained he was ‘tired of being a small sad nerd c‘ and proudly stated that his muscular body was the result of ‘hard work paying off’.

‘Not gonna stop ’till I’m number one,’ he said.

Over the past few months, the actions of Thynne have been deeply upsetting for his well-known older half-sister, Tammy. She received significant criticism from the public after she openly stated she was not helping him, despite rumors to the contrary.

In a TikTok video, she claimed she didn’t help her younger brother financially, and said she has ‘no involvement in any of the legal issues’. She stated she is not involved in any of the legal situation.

I rarely comment on issues like this, but this is a significant matter, and the claims being made about me are false,” she stated.

‘Firstly, I have had no involvement whatsoever in ever bailing my little brother out of anything.

I have no involvement in the legal matter. I haven’t had any communication with my brother, and I haven’t seen him at all. It’s been a while.

‘I’m not involved at all, in any way. So I wanted to make that clear.’

She clarified that she does not support ‘violence in any form’ and repeated that her ‘heart goes out to everyone involved’.
