Tammy Hembrow has fled the country after announcing her split from husband Matt Zukowski. 

After only seven months of wedlock, they’re on the verge of a divorce. Meanwhile, the health and wellness advocate is taking a break in New Zealand.

On Thursday, Tammy posted on Instagram that she and her children were traveling to Queenstown. She later shared videos of them at the airport.

Eventually, Tammy shared brief clips featuring herself at an airport with her kids on her Instagram Stories.

One video captured her daughter savoring a treat and grooving to some tunes, while another depicted her son grumbling about the high cost of airport cuisine.

It comes a day after Tammy revealed that she feels ‘lost’ after announcing her split.

The influencer expressed optimism about the future, sharing with her followers on Instagram that she aims to rise from the ruins.

Tammy earlier shared an emotional update following her painful breakup. 

At 31 years old, she openly acknowledged that she’s been experiencing persistent headaches due to her frequent bouts of crying ever since she disclosed her upcoming divorce.

In a recent Instagram Story post, I candidly shared that I’ve been experiencing more frequent headaches lately, which I attribute to my tendency to be quite sensitive or emotionally expressive, as some might say.

Tammy announced her shock split from Matt in an emotional video on Sunday.

The Love Island Australia celebrity likewise disclosed their split on an emotional Instagram Story, informing followers that this difficult choice was not made impulsively.

‘It’s with a heavy heart I share that Tammy and I have decided to separate,’ Matt began.

We’ve both found it challenging to decide on this matter, but ultimately, it seems necessary that we prioritize our own well-being as well as the best interest of her three kids.

He emphasized that the decision was not made lightly; instead, it holds deep significance that will forever remain dear to us. Moreover, he expressed his gratitude towards the fans for their unwavering support and requested privacy at this time.

Regardless of the brief duration of their marriage, both individuals are requesting seclusion while they adapt to life after their separation.

Matt ended his heartfelt message expressing gratitude for everyone’s understanding and patience while he navigates through the separation process.

Later on, Tammy expressed her feelings about the separation in a heartfelt video on TikTok, revealing that she was going through a divorce.

She shared with fans that she’d rather avoid going into specifics and wants to be mindful of all parties concerned.

Tammy went on, her voice cracking with emotion, “It’s clear that when you get married, you expect it to last a lifetime, and I take full responsibility for my part in it.

Reflecting on my past experiences, I must admit that I haven’t always chosen wisely in matters of the heart. There’s a tendency within me to view things through rosy-tinted spectacles, which sometimes clouds my judgment when it comes to relationships.

It’s clear that the most challenging aspect for me is having children. To be honest, my own well-being isn’t a concern; I believe I’ll manage fine. However, I can’t help but feel terrible about it.

The news arrived within just about 24 hours, following Matt’s sighting enjoying an evening out with sports journalist Tayla Little at the London Tavern in Melbourne on a Saturday night.

Initially, worry arose about Tammy in March when she was seen weeping in a restroom, and later it was heard that Matt may have spoken negatively about his spouse at a fitness center in South Melbourne.

After a few weeks, Matt silently departed from the shared home in Queensland and returned to Melbourne, where he once again took up employment at his father’s swimming pool company.

As Matt carried on co-hosting the podcast “Where’s Your Head At?” alongside his former girlfriend and fellow Love Island contestant Anna McEvoy, it was observed that Tammy was missing from Matt’s social media platforms.

They got engaged in December 2023 following just three months of dating.

The dynamic duo got engaged in the beautiful Maldives islands, later enjoying lavish vacations in Greece and Bali.

Previously, Tammy was betrothed to two individuals, initially to social media influencer Reece Hawkins. Together they have a son named Wolf and a daughter named Saskia.
