Tammy Hembrow has updated her eyebrows – and she’s worried she’s made a grave mistake. 

The 31-year-old social media personality showcased her newly shaped eyebrows in a story on Instagram on Tuesday, having reduced their fuller style.

However, Tammy is unsure if the new look suits her, and has begged her fans for help. 

‘What do we think? Do I have eyebrow blindness?’ she asked in the caption of her post. 

In the video that followed, Tammy could be seen adjusting her poses while filming herself using her phone, with occasional glances at the reflection in a mirror.

As she posed in side-profile and front-on, the designer seemed concerned by what she saw. 

Yesterday, Tammy posed a question to her followers, not just here, but also on her Instagram Stories. It seems she’s still concerned about her newly styled eyebrows.

The popular fitness personality is joining an internet craze where people, including content producers, are debating whether they suffer from a condition called “brow-blindness.

The term rose to popularity on TikTok in recent months. 

Over the last few decades, I’ve seen countless popular eyebrow styles sweep across the beauty scene like wildfire.

From thin-arched sperm brows in the early 2000s, to the block-shaped brows that emerged in 2016, influenced by Kylie Jenner, to the spiked soap brows popular today, there’s been a fascinating variety of eyebrow styles.

Apart from these popular items such as the Anastasia Brow Dip and Wunderbrow gel, there were also numerous other trendy products that accumulated.

Or more concisely: In addition to the viral Anastasia Brow Dip and Wunderbrow gel, many other trending products also piled up.

Reflecting on the eyebrow styles you sported in years gone by might prompt you to wonder, ‘What on earth was my reasoning back then?’

That is where eyebrow blindness comes in.  

Cassandra Bankson, a medical aesthetician, clarified the term to USA Today, describing it as “ignoring something fashionable, but not always beneficial for long-term health or appearance.

In my latest segment airing on CBS’s After Midnight, I, as a lifestyle enthusiast, delved into a fascinating topic, much like comedian Taylor Tomlinson did recently.

She playfully remarked that it’s a frequently occurring medical situation where it becomes challenging to realize when your eyebrows appear unusually odd.

On the popular app, it’s the trending topic where countless individuals have been sharing a multitude of amusing and astonishing videos showcasing past transformations of their eyebrow styles.

It appears that some individuals exhibited a range of brow thicknesses, from extremely thin to very thick, with some even having almost no brows at all.
