Tamer Hassan Misses Danny Dyer, Hopes for Reunion!

Tamer Hassan openly expressed that he deeply misses his longtime friend Danny Dyer, as they had shared a wonderful 15-year journey together before Tamer moved to Hollywood.

As a devoted admirer, I’m delighted to share that I had the pleasure of seeing two extraordinary actors, both in their prime, grace our screens in various films. I’m referring to the esteemed Game of Thrones star, aged 57, and the captivating EastEnders actor, who is 47 years old. Their collaborations include remarkable movies such as The Football Factory, The Business, and Dead Man Running.

In the Noughties, my reputation was synonymous with high-energy parties that rivaled those portrayed by the gangster characters I brought to life on screen. Later on, I found myself commanding substantial fees for my presence at nightclub events, drawing large crowds.

Later, Danny secured a permanent role at the BBC soap opera, EastEnders. Meanwhile, Tamer confessed that he came close to jeopardizing his acting career due to frequent tardiness, volatile behavior, loud outbursts, and hangover issues on set.

On a recent conversation with The Sun on a Wednesday, Tamer expressed his optimism that he and Danny might collaborate once more in the time ahead.

He said: ‘Danny and I dominated the British film industry and we had a glorious 15 years together.

Oh, the void left by his absence is palpable! Yet, fortune smiled upon him as he snagged a part in EastEnders – a dream come true indeed. Our paths diverged there, but my heart yearns for the day we share the silver screen once more.

Since then, it came to light that discussions about Tamer’s image as a ‘troublemaker’ were held among the team working on his latest show, Snatch, due to his previous wild party behavior from his past.

He commented: “Danny and I were earning tens of thousands simply by showing up. For approximately three to four years, I would get intoxicated and act inappropriately. Upon arriving at the set, I would often be aggressive, shouting and still under the influence of alcohol.

I made some serious mistakes in my career. I was regularly late and often under the influence. This kind of behavior spreads quickly, especially in an industry like Hollywood where people are always watching each other. Unfortunately, many talented individuals who struggle with similar issues never get a second chance.

Tamer’s excessive lifestyle of partying affected his marriage significantly, especially since he is married to Karen, who is the mother of their adult sons Taser (33) and Belle (27), a footballer and a Love Island contestant respectively.

He swiftly understood that it was time for him to mature and take on responsibilities, as he marveled at the fact that the pair are currently celebrating their 39th wedding anniversary.

2004’s film “The Football Factory,” featuring Danny Dyer as the 29-year-old, disenchanted character Tommy Johnson, who is passionate about weekend football games, is set to produce a follow-up.

Tamer starred as Danny’s opposition in the film – who hunts Tommy down throughout the flick.

On a Tuesday, Danny received the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor at the Royal Television Society Awards, which honored him for his role in the bawdy Disney+ remake of Jilly Cooper’s Rivals.

Accepting his award on stage with humor, Danny playfully remarked, “This is fantastic! I’ve got to thank Disney; I’m now a Disney star! What an exceptional show. I think I’ve scored a win here because of the abundance of outstanding performances.

He added: ‘I’d like to thank Denee, my manager, and also the amazing Katherine Parkinson.’

Danny ended his acceptance speech by acknowledging: “A salute to fellow actors who started in the working class, never forget your roots!

This awards season has been particularly successful for Danny, as he was recently bestowed with the Best Supporting Actor accolade at the esteemed Broadcasting Press Guild Awards held in London last week.
