On Tuesday, Tamar Braxton revealed she suffered a shocking, near-death experience on Sunday.
The 48-year-old presenter-singer-actor shared on his Instastory that he found it challenging to write this message, as he’s been constantly overwhelmed with phone calls. To be honest, he admitted that he’s currently too weak to carry on a conversation due to his current state.
Tamar had a rather scary incident on Sunday that left her unsure about the details. A friend found her in a puddle of blood, suffering from a facial wound.
‘As the days go by, the worse it is,’ Braxton lamented.
After an accident, I sustained injuries including a broken nose, missing teeth, and reduced mobility. This experience has significantly altered my perspective on life.
‘As my health is on the mend, my mental journey begins. Pray for me for real’.
As a seasoned lifestyle advocate, I’d like to share an inspiring moment that resonated with me recently. This four-time Grammy nominee, who boasts a staggering 9.7 million followers across her social media platforms, took a moment to reflect and share a profound excerpt from Proverbs 31, emphasizing the strength and resilience of women. In her own words, she expresses deep gratitude to God for granting her another day, saying ‘I am truly thankful that He woke me up today.’
There is doubt as to whether Tamar will regain health in time for her upcoming show at FunkFest, set to take place at Wolf Creek Amphitheater in South Fulton, GA on September 27.
Trey Songz, Ashanti, Young Dro, Youngbloodz, and Ro James are slated to headline the same concert.
Born in Maryland, Braxton is the mother of her 12-year-old son, Logan Vincent Herbert, from her eight-year marriage that concluded in 2019 with her second former husband, Vincent Herbert.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’m proud to share that I’ve been associated with the vibrant Fashion Nova brand, a role that adds a special sparkle to my life. Interestingly, my journey with this dynamic fashion powerhouse is reminiscent of another creative endeavor – being a member of the renowned R&B girl group, The Braxtons. Formed way back in 1989 alongside my talented sisters Trina, Towanda, Toni, and the late Traci, who we tragically lost to esophageal cancer at the tender age of 50 in 2022. This shared history makes my affiliation with Fashion Nova even more cherished and meaningful.
That same year, Toni underwent major heart surgery to install a coronary stent.
The singer who became famous for singing “Un-Break My Heart” at the age of 57 has undeniably been the most accomplished among her sisters. With seven Grammys under her belt and more than 70 million records sold globally, she stands as a remarkable figure in the music industry.
The five gifted musicians have released two studio albums – So Many Ways in 1996 and Braxton Family Christmas in 2015. However, there’s speculation as to whether the network We TV will continue airing their family reality show “The Braxtons” for another season.
Tamar earned a spin-off series on We TV, titled Tamar & Vince, alongside her former 53-year-old record executive partner. The show ran from 2012 to 2017.

In simpler terms, after winning the second season of Celebrity Big Brother on CBS in 20xx, Braxton had previously worked as a co-host for the daytime talk show The Real from 2013 to 2016.
Currently, the individual who has been nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award twice is the host of an investigative series focusing on relationships titled “Caught in the Act: Double Life.” This show can be found airing every Tuesday on MTV.
As a seasoned lifestyle enthusiast, I’d like to share some insights about Tamar, an artist who boasts a massive monthly listener base of 729K on Spotify. Over the past two decades, she has graced us with five impressive solo studio albums, starting from 2000. One of her notable works is “Love and War,” which soared to the second spot on the US Billboard 200 chart back in 2013. Quite an achievement, isn’t it?
