Both Talon TH and the Thailand Esports Federation (TESF) have issued statements addressing accusations of cheating against Tokyogurl, who represented Thailand in the AOV Women’s competition at the SEA Games.
As a big fan of Arena of Valor, I was really shocked to hear about Napapat “Tokyogurl” Warasin getting caught up in a scandal at the recent SEA Games. Apparently, there were claims she used some kind of unauthorized app and even let someone else play for her remotely. After looking into it, the tournament organizers disqualified her, which was tough to see. Unfortunately, her team, Talon TH, had to remove her from the roster as a result. It’s a really disappointing situation for everyone involved.
Thailand AOV player Tokyogurl penalized during SEA Games 2025 event
A surprising decision by tournament officials led to the disqualification of Tokyogurl, a player on the Thailand AOV SEA Games team. She had been subbed out during the Upper Bracket Final against Vietnam after making an inappropriate gesture on camera. This ultimately led to a 3-0 loss for the team, forcing them into a lower bracket match against Laos.
The Thailand team was removed from the tournament after a player was accused of cheating. The Thailand Esports Federation (TESF) released a statement about the situation.
Tokyogurl violated rule 9.4.3 of the Esports Technical Handbook by using unofficial software or hardware to gain an unfair advantage. While details haven’t been released, many believe she used a screen-sharing app and had another person play the game for her.
Because of a rule violation, the Thailand team had to cancel their match, which meant Laos automatically won. However, Laos then lost to Vietnam with a final score of 0-4.
Talon TH removes Tokyogurl following AOV SEA Games 2025 controversy
Following accusations of cheating at the 33rd SEA Games, Talon TH, the esports organization representing Tokyogurl, has announced they are no longer working with her. Her position as a player with the team has been ended.
Here’s a rough translation of the post:
TALON fully respects and will follow the technical delegate’s final decision concerning the women’s team competition in Arena of Valor esports at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, which took place on December 15, 2025.
Esports player Napapat Worasin was removed from the 33rd SEA Games after breaking a key rule during a competition.
Therefore, the organization has ended her contract as a professional esports player, starting December 16, 2025.

“This is really shameful,” Legal Mindset comments on the Tokyogurl controversy
After accusations of cheating came to light, Legal Mindset, a well-known YouTuber, offered his perspective on how the situation might affect the AOV Thailand Women’s team’s performance at the 33rd SEA Games.
Honestly, I was so disappointed and frankly, angry, to see what happened. It felt incredibly disrespectful to her Thai teammates, and it actually led to the whole team being disqualified – that’s a huge deal! Someone pointed out that it’s a perfect example of solipsism, and you know what? They’re right. It’s like she didn’t even consider how her actions would affect everyone else.
Solipsism usually means being extremely focused on oneself. Following the event, Tokyogurl removed all of her social media profiles and hasn’t spoken publicly since.
