As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent traversing the fantastical realms of Middle-earth, I must say that the delay of Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game from 2024 to March 2025 is akin to Frodo and Samwise waiting one more day on Mount Doom. However, patience is a virtue hobbits teach us, so I shall wait.
Private Division and developer Weta Workshop have just shared that the release date for “Tales of Middle-earth: A Lord of the Rings Game” has been moved to March 2025, as it was previously scheduled for a 2024 launch.
In Middle-earth, embark on a charming journey titled “Tales of the Shire.” Here, you’ll craft your unique Hobbit character, deciding on traits like mood and even the style of their foot hair! Spend leisurely days in your peaceful hometown, Bywater. Indulge in activities such as cooking, gardening, fishing, socializing with other Hobbits, trading goods, and gathering seasonal produce from the fields. It’s a relaxing, stress-free experience!
You have the option to personalize your Hobbit home as well, by embellishing your bedroom, cozy sitting spaces, and both pantry and kitchen. Make sure these areas are filled with essential ingredients for cooking impromptu meals for unexpected visitors. A variety of fruits, vegetables, spices, and many other items will be provided to assist you in creating any dishes you’ve found intriguing.
2025 marks the release date for “Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game,” which will be playable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, personal computers, and even Netflix starting from March 25th.
