Take a First Look at ‘Magic: The Gathering – Marvel’s Spider-Man’

Since the start of 2021, when Wizards of the Coast unveiled their collaboration-focused “Universes Beyond” sets for Magic: The Gathering, the game universe has been growing at an incredible rate. This has led to iconic franchises like Assassin’s Creed and The Lord of the Rings being transformed into collectible cards. As the release of the FINAL FANTASY-themed set draws closer, we now get a sneak peek at the cards inspired by Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Approximately six months before its release, Wizards of the Coast showcased their first look at the new collection during Hasbro’s North American Toy Fair in New York. In this unveiling, we find several “Legendary Creatures” such as Doc Ock, Venom, Green Goblin, and Sensational Spider-Man making an appearance. Other additions to the collection include Doc Ock’s tentacles and Green Goblin’s pumpkin bombs. Combining these six new cards results in a breathtaking battle scene painting by Dan Dos Santos that showcases all four icons engaged in epic combat.
