Under the banner of CI Games’ United Label, it has been announced that “Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter” is set to release in February 2025. This announcement marks a sequel to the 2021 original, continuing the epic medieval tale penned by developer Odd Bug, known as the “rodent opus”.
As a gamer, I find myself stepping into the furry boots of Arlo, a brave rat, born to the Warden of the North. My adventure leads me through the unforgiving landscapes of the north, where an age-old menace lies frozen in the desolate wastelands that stretch beyond. This tale unfolds following the tumultuous southern war between Rats and Frogs, introducing thrilling new monster hunts amidst the colossal beasts that inhabit the northern territories.
As Geralt the Witcher, I find myself once again lending my voice to guide players through an immersive world filled with magic and mayhem. The combat has seen a significant upgrade in this new installment, with a focus on weapons-based gameplay that incorporates elements like fire, ice, electricity, and poison for added depth. The semi-open world unfolds across six diverse biomes, each teeming with its own unique flora, fauna, and challenges. A new faction of Dark Wing Bats, armed with sharp teeth and a taste for trouble, adds a fresh layer of danger to the already perilous landscape. Improved base building options allow players to customize their home, while a dynamic time-of-day system ensures that each moment brings new threats and opportunities.
