Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter Gets a Late-January Release Date and New Trailer
CI Games’ United Label has shared that the sequel to last year’s action RPG, titled “Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter,” is set to release in late January. This time around, a new hero named Arlo will embark on a journey for revenge.
indie UK studio Odd Bug has resumed development for _Tails of Iron 2_, where protagonist Arlo confronts an age-old, lethal danger to Ratdom, following on from the happenings in the first game. The upcoming installment features fresh gameplay elements and a more refined version of the series’ brutal combat, plus beast-hunt side missions and an extended campaign.
In addition to setting up strategic snares, Arlo will also unleash powerful “Elementa” spells akin to divine abilities, all while Doug Cockle, known for voicing Geralt from The Witcher series, guides the narrative. Furthermore, you’ll notice enhancements in base construction and upgrading as you restore the dilapidated Rat fortress in Winter’s Edge.
The sequel to “Tails of Iron,” titled “Tails of Iron 2: Frost-Kissed Whiskers,” is scheduled to release on January 28th for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. A Deluxe Edition will be available, granting access to the ‘Augur of the Draugr’ set and ‘Hair to the Throne’ cosmetic pack DLCs. These items can also be purchased separately.
