Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival Drums its Way to Xbox Series X|S Today

As a rhythm game enthusiast with years of drumming experience under my belt, let me tell you that Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival has sent my heart pounding and my spirit soaring! Having grown up in the era of arcade rhythm games, I can’t help but feel nostalgic as I dive into Omiko City’s vibrant festivals.

Today, Bandai Namco has rolled out “Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival” on consoles and PC platforms, expanding its 2022 launch for Nintendo Switch. This vibrant and vivid game is set within the bustling Omiko City, where players can enjoy a variety of modes based on the popular drumming rhythm series, along with some exciting new additions.

With Don-chan and Kumo-kyun, you’ll set sail on a melodious journey spanning various music festivals and rhythm duels. Besides the traditional Taiko mode, the game offers four-player collaboration in Taiko Land, and competitive multiplayer in Dondoko Town. The game features 76 songs to enjoy, including chart-topping tunes.

Enjoy hits such as “Gurenge”, “Feel Special”, and “Racing into the Night” among others, but expand your collection with the Music Pass subscription! This service grants you access to over 700 extra tracks. Additionally, if you’re a fan of specific genres or themes, consider the Setlist Edition. It includes three collections: Pops Collection, Anime Songs Collection, and Vocaloid Songs Collection, all bundled together for your listening pleasure.

All downloadable content (DLC) released for the Nintendo Switch version can be purchased as well. The game “Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival” is currently available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers (PC).
