For the first time in the League of Legends Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC 2025), two teams that earned direct playoff spots are meeting head-on. Despite encountering challenges in their initial matches, Anyone’s Legend and T1 emerged victorious over their respective opponents.
Theoretically, Team T1 secured a respectable quarterfinals match against KOI from Europe. It’s common knowledge that Korean teams usually outshine their Western counterparts. Despite winning, the match was closer than anticipated, with KOI managing to win one game.
Any team known as Anyone’s Legend is relatively fresh in the international League of Legends esports landscape. Remarkably, their first major tournament was the Mid-Season Invitational 2025 (MSI 2025), where they placed third. It was T1 who bested Anyone’s Legend with a score of 3:2 in that competition.
