Sadly, the well-known Georgia rapper T-Hood (real name Tevin Hood) passed away at 33 years old due to a tragic shooting incident that occurred in his own residence.
Over the weekend, I was absolutely thrilled to learn that the Gwinnett County Police were responding to a shooting incident at a home in good ol’ Snellville! According to my favorite gossip source, TMZ, this drama unfolded during a heated argument within a residence on Friday. Can’t wait for more updates on this one!
Swiftly, first responders were on the scene, delivering immediate medical assistance before transferring Hood to a hospital nearby.
He later succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital.
Law enforcement has taken into custody an individual linked to the event, who is currently being questioned during a continuing murder investigation.
Yulanda, Hood’s mom, verified that her son was the unfortunate victim, and she emphatically stated there was no party taking place at their home at the time of the shooting incident.

T-Hood was known in the Southern rap scene for songs like READY 2 GO, Big Booty, and Perculator.
He last posted on Instagram about a week ago.
Today we were talking non-stop over the phone, and now it’s hard for me to believe that you’re no longer here,” his music producer Deddotwill posted on Instagram.
‘REST IN PEACE T-HOOD I LOVE YOU BROTHER.’
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but reminisce about the chilling comedy that unfolded just weeks before the legend himself left us. On July 21, Tevin took to Instagram and shared a video of him, dressed as a ghost in a cemetery, promoting his track Grave Diggerz. It was a spine-tingling performance that still sends shivers down my spine!
In the video, the rapper donned a white sheet with red splashes near the eye openings, giving an impression of blood. He quipped, “Hey, are you still breathing? We’re all dead at the graveyard. Why not visit the graveyard? I saved a spot for you there,” as he chuckled.
He persisted, offering a wryly amusing proposition: ‘The only task is to meet your end. Simply depart from life today. If you pass away today, you’re invited to join us – come on over!’
After the post, there’s been an outpouring of comments from fans, mourning with phrases such as ‘this doesn’t seem to have aged gracefully’, while paying tribute to the deceased hip-hop artist.

Upon learning the news, one follower expressed disbelief, writing beneath his latest social media post, ‘I can hardly accept this news.’
Another person chimed in, saying, ‘They tend to select the top choices every time; your radiance was far too brilliant for this ordinary world.’
A third fan vowed, ‘We never gon stop pushing your legacy.’
