SZA Nearly Drops During Tour Opening as Backup Dancer Struggles to Keep Her Steady!

On Saturday evening, SZA experienced a near accident while performing in Minneapolis as part of the opening night of her joint tour with Kendrick Lamar for The Grand National Tour.

The phenomenal hitmaker herself, at the ripe age of 35, was almost sent tumbling by her male dancing partner during their synchronized routine. It seemed as if he momentarily lost his footing and balance right smack in the middle of our mesmerizing dance!

The event occurred during a dance performance featuring a partner in a costume resembling an insect, accompanied by a video depicting a praying mantis eating its partner.

In those heart-pounding moments, I found myself momentarily off-balance, but quickly managed to steady myself, continuing my journey as if the near stumble hadn’t occurred.

The Twitter post’s caption reads, ‘SZA recovers after almost tripping during the kickoff of her concert tour.’

Fans who saw the post had a variety of opinions they were only too happy to share. 

One indignant spectator expressed dismay, suggesting, “What on earth?! Let’s dismiss him. This isn’t a playground for jesting,” in reference to the unfortunate dancer.

SZA has not made any public comment about the incident.  

The tour resumes on Wednesday and continues with dates arranged throughout North America, running until June 18.

Following that, their act will perform across various European cities, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and Italy, as scheduled.
