Sydnie Christmas reveals which Britain’s Got Talent judge is just ‘a call away’ after she admits that she fell out of love with the industry and nearly gave up her dream as a singer

As a dedicated follower of Sydnie Christmas’s journey, I must say her story is as inspiring as it gets. From humble beginnings to performing alongside legends at David Foster’s 75th birthday bash, Sydnie embodies resilience and determination.

Sydnie Christmas has disclosed that one of the judges on Britain’s Got Talent can be easily reached, following her confession about losing affection for the entertainment sector and considering abandoning her aspirations as a vocalist.

Currently, the 29-year-old victor of the 2024 competition has experienced a sparkling debut in her career, having just graced the stage at David Foster’s 75th birthday extravaganza held at Los Angeles’ iconic Hollywood Bowl.

Accompanied by a lineup of legendary performers such as Academy Award-winning Jennifer Hudson, five-time Grammy Award-winning Michael Buble, and the esteemed Italian vocalist Andrea Bocelli, she was there.

Despite a bumpy journey towards theater stardom, I’ve discovered that judges have been steadfastly backing me every step of the way, their support a warm beacon shining from the sidelines as I ascend to fame under the spotlight.

She shared with the media outlet: “Amanda is such a delight to me; she’s always just a message distant should I ever require her.

‘It’s the same with Bruno – they both just want me to do well.

‘They want what’s best. It’s lovely to have people believe in you like that.’

Previously, Sydnie responded to those who expressed hateful comments about her giving up her ambition in musical theater.

Earlier this year, she shared with TopMob that she faced severe online criticism following her performance on the ITV program, where she secured Amanda Holden’s Golden Buzzer and ultimately emerged as the winner.

However, the previous gym receptionist was informed by internet trolls that she should resign and concocted a false story about her professional life. They alleged that she had previously starred as a leading actress on the West End stage and had also released a song on Spotify.

As an ardent admirer putting words to the tale, let me share how Sydnie, who openly admitted her past as a star in Germany’s Starlight Express during her Britain’s Got Talent audition journey, painted a vivid picture of her struggles. She candidly confessed to experiencing relentless rejection and the necessity of juggling various jobs – even cleaning to keep afloat financially.

Regardless of bagging £250,000 and an opportunity to perform before King Charles at the Royal Variety Show, Sydnie claims that her struggle to achieve success in the realm of musical theater has never been more challenging.

She said: ‘I woke up every day and expected to see hate.

‘One person said, “she has a song on Spotify, she’s famous” I’m telling you now, anyone can put a song on Spotify, you can record it on your phone, other people said, “she’s a Broadway star”, “she’s been a leading lady in the West End”, it was utter rubbish. They have a mind of hate.

1) They pulled it straight from thin air, yet I can’t fathom their source for such concepts; however, what they claimed was undeniably false. (Paraphrased in a conversational and straightforward manner while maintaining the original meaning.)

Instead of saying, “they claim she should quit because she couldn’t make it in the West End,” a more natural way to put it might be: “They argue that since she struggled in the West End, she should throw in the towel. However, let me clarify that I have tirelessly pursued opportunities there and even worked overseas, which I have always been open about.

For the past ten years, I’ve dedicated my life to this industry. Along the way, I’ve held various positions such as being a cleaner, working at a pawn shop (cash converter), trying my hand at dancing, and even working on an egg farm. You can see that I’m adaptable, right?

“I can’t believe some people don’t understand basic things, it’s beyond me. How can they act so rudely towards others when I wouldn’t dream of treating anyone like that.

Following her application to Britain’s Got Talent, Sydnie persisted in trying out for theatrical positions; however, she encountered more obstacles along the way.

Despite having won the ITV show, Sydnie is not given special treatment by casting directors and undergoes the same audition process as all other contenders. This may contradict public opinion but it’s the truth.

This year, Sydnie unveiled her debut single titled “Starlight Express,” preceding the release of her album entitled “My Way.” The album is set to drop in late September.

The collection of pieces will include songs like “Over The Rainbow,” “My Way,” and “Tomorrow,” as a tribute to the captivating performances Sydnie gave during her auditions.

In October, she played 15 shows nationwide, starting her tour in Gateshead and wrapping it up in Liverpool.
