Sydney Sweeney’s hit R-rated movie, which has been incredibly popular in theaters, is now coming to digital platforms, letting audiences enjoy the action and excitement at home.
Sydney Sweeney has become known for taking on challenging roles, like Cassie in the HBO series Euphoria, which she’ll be revisiting soon. But her newest film is currently a huge success, topping the box office and earning high praise – a 92% audience score and 74% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Starting February 3, you’ll be able to rent or buy The Housemaid on digital platforms and through video on demand services. The movie is based on the popular book series by Freida McFadden, and is directed by Paul Feig, the director behind films like Bridesmaids and A Simple Favor. It stars Sydney Sweeney, alongside Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar.
Millie takes a job as a live-in maid for the rich couple, Nina and Andrew Winchester, hoping for a fresh start. However, the perfect job soon turns dangerous, becoming a thrilling game of secrets, lies, and control. The Winchesters hide shocking truths behind closed doors, and you won’t see the ending coming.
