Sydney Sweeney’s horror movie Immaculate confirms streaming release date

As a dedicated gamer and film enthusiast with a soft spot for horror movies, I’m thrilled to share that “Immaculate,” the Sydney Sweeney-led horror film, will soon be available on Hulu in the United States starting from August 6. Although we haven’t received an official announcement regarding its UK streaming date, I can already watch or rent it through Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store, and other digital retailers.

Immaculate has landed a US streaming date – and it’s soon.

Starting August 6, you can stream the horror film headed by Sydney Sweeney on Hulu.

The release date for streaming the movie in the UK has not been announced yet, but you can currently purchase or rent it on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store, and other online platforms.

In a tranquil Italian countryside convent, the “Euphoria” actress finds solace as a devoted American nun named Cecilia, seeking to begin anew. Yet, her promising start spirals into terror when she unexpectedly learns of her pregnancy and uncovers the chilling secret hidden within the seemingly idyllic monastery.

I’m thrilled to rave about the fantastic cast of “Immaculate.” Among them are Simona Tabasco from “The White Lotus,” the mesmerizing Alvaro Morte known for his role in “Money Heist,” and the captivating Benedetta Porcaroli, who stole my heart in “Amanda.”

Sydney took on the role of producer for the religious horror film, “Anyone But You,” which she had initially auditioned for a decade earlier. Determined to breathe life into the project that had been stalled in development, she used her production company to see it through to completion and bring it to theaters.

Sweeney recalled asking her agents if “Immaculate” had been produced by them, to which they replied no. Realizing she would have to create it herself, she shared this experience with Digital Spy.

The movie opened at Rotten Tomatoes with a “Fresh” score of 72% (now 71%), and it brought in an impressive $5.3 million during its first weekend in the United States.

In an unprecedented achievement, indie Neon experienced its most profitable opening weekend to date with the release of “Immaculate.”

In his four-star review for Digital Spy, Ian Sandwell notes that some parts of “Immaculate” bring to mind films like “The Nun” and “Prey for the Devil,” specifically scenes involving nuns wandering dimly lit hallways and startling jumps. The film’s climax and impressive conclusion are a worthy homage to this time period.

As I’ve watched her perform time and time again, I’m continually reminded of how electrifying an actor Sweeney is. She never fails to leave me in awe and solidifies her place as one of the most captivating talents of her generation.

Immaculate will be available to stream on Hulu on August 6.
