Things are moving quickly between Sydney Sweeney and her new boyfriend, Scooter Braun, not long after she called off her engagement to her previous fiancé.
She first encountered Braun, age 44, this past summer at the wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez in Italy, and they’ve been close ever since.
Despite Taylor Swift referencing their past conflict in a song on her latest album – seemingly throwing shade at him – Braun appears unbothered, as he’s currently focused on his much-younger girlfriend. He seems completely smitten.
According to a source familiar with the couple, ‘He is very much into her,’ following his appearance at her lavish space-themed 28th birthday celebration in Los Angeles last weekend.
Their relationship is quickly becoming serious, and sources say Sweeney spent Labor Day weekend with Braun on a romantic getaway to Lake Tahoe. She reportedly even introduced him to her parents during the trip.
Just recently, the seemingly smitten couple was seen holding hands while spending time with her parents at a Halloween-themed amusement park. They all enjoyed a fun outing together.

‘This isn’t just a casual fling,’ a source revealed to Page Six. ‘Things are serious now. They’re completely committed and are officially a couple.’
Over the weekend at Sweeney’s birthday party, she wore a costume recreating Britney Spears’ famous dress from the cover of her 2008 album, Circus. Her friends joined in the fun, dressing up as sexy astronauts, aliens, and memorable characters from classic science fiction movies.
Braun dressed up as a Jedi for the party but arrived separately from his girlfriend.
At the party, someone observed that the couple didn’t seem particularly affectionate, as the actress was spending time talking to all the guests.
“It was a really big party with tons of guests,” said an insider, who also mentioned they had worked with Sweeney in the past. “She generally keeps to herself and values her privacy.”
They first met and struck up a romance during the Amazon billionaire’s nuptials in Venice in June.
The actress chatted with Tom Brady and Orlando Bloom, but a source said she was really focused on getting to know Braun. She seemed very interested in him, the insider revealed. It was clear he was her priority.
Braun was first worried she might be too inexperienced, but she couldn’t help herself and soon became ‘obsessed’ with the glamorous blonde woman.
‘I can tell you that it’s very real and he’s very happy,’ the source said.
Following the end of her almost seven-year engagement to businessman Jonathan Davino, 43, earlier in the year, Sweeney has begun a new romance.
According to a source, the couple was facing significant problems in their relationship, and the dynamic between them was extremely unhealthy.
A source with knowledge of the couple’s relationship stated that their connection is much more than just a casual affair. They explained: ‘I think anybody that goes public isn’t kidding around, right?‘
Braun was married to Yael Cohen, a 38-year-old heiress from a mining family, for seven years. They separated in the middle of 2021.
The source close to the new couple claimed that Braun’s marriage with Cohen had not been healthy.
‘It wasn’t a good relationship,’ the insider noted.
Braun and Cohen share three children and remain close while co-parenting their young children.
During an appearance on a podcast a few months back, he referred to his ex-wife as ‘one of my best friends’ and mentioned they still talk every day.
Braun became a billionaire over two years ago, and last summer, the music executive – previously known for managing artists like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande – revealed he was stepping down from music management after a 23-year career.
According to a source familiar with their relationship, he doesn’t stand to benefit from her in any way. They explained, ‘He’s financially secure, doesn’t require any business opportunities through her, and already has all the contacts he needs.’ The source emphasized, ‘He’s simply not taking advantage of her.‘
The insider added of what Braun could bring to Sweeney’s life during a pivotal time in her career.
‘He knows how to do deals. Everything that Scooter does always turns to gold.’
Although this combination may seem surprising, a source shared: ‘It’s definitely a bit unexpected, [but] sometimes these unlikely pairings actually succeed.’
