Sydney Sweeney‘s 28th birthday party was truly out-of-this-world.
I recently hosted a fun, space-themed party, and it was *such* a blast! I was so happy to have some amazing friends there, including Glen Powell, 36, Lauren Sanchez, 55, Wiz Khalifa, 38, and Diplo, 46. It was the perfect night with great company!
Oh my gosh, Sydney absolutely *killed* it at the party! She wore this incredible, super form-fitting metallic dress by The Blonds – it just hugged her curves! And you will *not* believe this – it’s the same dress Britney Spears wore for her Circus album cover back in 2008! I knew it looked familiar! It’s totally a celeb staple, and Sydney rocked it even *better*, if I’m being honest. The dress is covered in stars, and honestly, she looked like one!
Even Sydney’s footwear, a pair of sexy high heels, were in space theme.
The singer – who is reportedly dating Scooter Braun – posted pictures from the lavish party to her Instagram account on Monday. She captioned the photos: ‘Welcome to planet syd,’ and included 👽, 🚀, and 🌠 emojis.
The party guests really got into the UFO theme! Her Anyone But You co-star, Glen, came as a NASA astronaut, Lauren wore a shiny silver mini dress, and lots of other people chose outfits in metallic colors.
Whether they came as creatures with green skin or sported alien ears, people truly embraced the theme. Some attendees even dressed up as characters from Star Wars, and we even spotted a few folks who looked like they’d stepped straight out of Men In Black.
Characters from Star Wars waved their light sabers while Sydney happily danced with a friend, but the evening wasn’t truly finished until a picture was taken with Chewbacca himself. It was a magical night!
Decor included a NASA rocket ship while colorful lighting helped maintain the club-like ambiance.
Sydney’s birthday cake was truly impressive! It was a two-layer cake designed to look like a starry night, and it was finished with bright, round decorations that looked like planets. It was a real showstopper!
Pals Kelley McCartney and Amélie Tremblay assisted Sydney in blowing out the candles.
Guests enjoyed beverages from a bar while Diplo entertained guests from behind the turn table.
Not pictured in any of the photos was her new boyfriend Scooter Braun.
The duo were recently seen together acting very much like a couple.
The couple was spotted holding hands at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights in Los Angeles this weekend. The actress was accompanied by her parents, Lisa and Steven.
The group were flanked by five private security guards and VIP tour guides during the outing.
The Daily Mail has learned that this new couple is getting quite serious. A source revealed, ‘They speak daily and meet up frequently; it’s a very intense relationship.’
I’m hesitant to say love, but that’s definitely how it feels. They appear to be deeply in love, or at the very least, experiencing intense attraction.

According to a source who spoke with PageSix, Braun has been ‘obsessed’ with Sweeney since they began spending time together around the end of June.
He has been ‘pursuing’ the actress heavily as he takes her on date after date.
Rumors suggest they’ve been a couple since April, after they attended Lana Del Rey’s show at the Coachella Music Festival, but this hasn’t been officially verified.
Sweeney ended her engagement to Jonathan Davino earlier this year.
Braun and Yael Cohen ended their marriage in July 2021, following seven years together. They are parents to three children: Jagger, who is nine years old, Levi, seven, and Hart, five.
