Sydney Sweeney CONFIRMS romance with Scooter Braun as they hold hands while with her parents as friends say they are ‘serious’

Over the weekend, Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun were spotted together, and their behavior suggested they are a couple.

The couple was seen holding hands while on a date at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights in Los Angeles. Accompanying them were the actress’s parents, Lisa and Steven.

The group was flanked by five private security guards and VIP tour guides during the outing. 

The Daily Mail has learned that this new couple is getting quite serious. ‘They speak daily and meet up frequently; it’s a very intense relationship,’ a source revealed to the Daily Mail.

I’m hesitant to say love, but that’s certainly how it feels. They appear to be deeply in love, or at the very least, experiencing intense lust.

She’s incredibly attractive, and he’s a mature, grounded person who is supporting her as she navigates newfound fame and a rapidly growing career. He offers excellent guidance. They both fulfill each other’s needs and desires; they have what the other one is looking for. He is helping her through it all.

Zendaya, 28, known for her role in Euphoria, and her boyfriend, 44-year-old music industry executive, coordinated their looks with grey sweatshirts and baseball caps.

They appeared quite comfortable and at ease with each other as they walked by frightening monsters and intricate mazes.

Sydney, the actress known for her role in Christy and currently a popular star in Hollywood, styled her long blonde hair in side braids. She completed her very relaxed outfit with noticeable large diamond stud earrings.

The pair previously had dinner at Buca di Beppo, located in Universal’s Citywalk, and then went on to the theme park.

Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Sweeney and Braun, but did not immediately hear back. 

They’ve been connected romantically ever since they met at the wedding of Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos in Italy on June 27th, meaning they’ve been a couple for nearly three months.

This news follows reports of the couple enjoying a romantic date in Los Angeles’ Brentwood area on Wednesday evening.

The movie star and music manager were sitting opposite each other at Jon and Vinny’s, a restaurant that offers Italian-inspired cuisine.

During dinner, Sweeney had her blonde hair loose. She was wearing a dark top, shorts that showed off her fit legs, and boots that came up to her calves.

The talent manager – formerly with Justin Bieber – was wearing a white, long-sleeved T-shirt. He had a short haircut and was wearing black prescription glasses.

When they left the trendy establishment together they got into a black SUV. 

Neither Braun nor Sweeney has publicly commented on a possible romance.

According to a source who spoke with PageSix, Braun has been ‘obsessed’ with Sweeney since they began spending time together around the end of June.

He has been ‘pursuing’ the actress heavily as he takes her on date after date.

Rumors suggest they’ve been a couple since April, after they attended Lana Del Rey’s show at the Coachella Music Festival, but this hasn’t been officially verified.

Sweeney ended her engagement to Jonathan Davino in March.

Braun and Yael Cohen ended their marriage in July 2021, following seven years together. They are parents to three children: Jagger, who is 9 years old, Levi, 7, and Hart, 5.

Earlier this year, Braun revealed he had struggled with suicidal thoughts during his divorce. The business leader described feeling in a very dark place after his marriage to Cohen ended in 2020. He recalled this difficult period, highlighting the emotional toll of the separation.

On The Diary Of A CEO podcast, Scooter shared that in October of 2020, his marriage was experiencing difficulties. He noted that, publicly, it appeared as though he was very successful.

I remember a really dark time, about 20 minutes where I seriously considered ending my life. It all felt connected to my marriage potentially falling apart. I kept thinking, if things with my marriage ended, I wouldn’t always be there for my kids, and that felt unbearable. It hit me that I couldn’t control the situation, and I was crumbling under the pressure of the perfect image I’d always tried to project to everyone. The thought was, if I couldn’t maintain that perfect facade, if I couldn’t be who people expected, I didn’t want to continue living. It was a terrifying realization, and I felt completely helpless.

Things got really difficult, and after about 20 minutes, I remember thinking, “What on earth just happened?” It just wasn’t like me – I would never abandon my children.

Scooter’s divorce led him to some key self-discoveries: ‘I realize now I thought I was happy simply because everyone around me said I was successful, and I accepted that as truth. It feels like I was just going through the motions, unaware of my own feelings. I achieved a lot of success early on, and everyone praised me, so I just believed them. It wasn’t until things fell apart and I realized there was no real substance underneath that I understood I wasn’t truly happy.’

Recently, Sweeney has been concentrating on her work. She’s starring in a new film called Christy, where she portrays the actual boxer Christy Martin.

Sydney has admitted to feeling inspired by the former professional sportswoman.

She shared with Vanity Fair: ‘I was incredibly surprised that more people didn’t know her story, considering she’s one of the most powerfully moving and encouraging women I’ve ever encountered.’

Sydney got into excellent physical condition to prepare for her role as Christy in the film. She was also committed to performing the boxing scenes herself, without the help of a stunt double.

Sydney explained: ‘In every fight scene you see, we’re genuinely hitting each other. We’re going all out with full force. I’ve always thought that it wouldn’t feel authentic if we used a stunt double or pretended to take the hits.’

Sydney’s popularity has increased dramatically in recent years, though she has previously shared that she is still getting used to being famous and learning how to handle it. She describes this process as ‘navigating’ fame.

The Hollywood star shared that she’s still getting used to being famous and successful. The actress – known for her roles in popular movies and TV series like Euphoria and The White Lotus – explained to ES Magazine in 2023: ‘I’m still figuring things out day by day because I really want to be real and honest with both the public and my fans.’

I believe I am. I tend to share a lot, and I’m very upfront – which might cause problems for me down the line – but I just don’t understand how people can pretend to be someone they’re not. However, I also don’t feel obligated to explain myself to others.

Sydney shared that she still values having her own peace and private life. She explained: ‘I’m a very private person when it comes to my family and relationships. I want people to get to know me as an individual, but I also believe I deserve to maintain my privacy. It’s a difficult balance, and I’m still learning how to navigate it.’
