Sydney Sweeney addresses Euphoria time jump in season 3
As a devoted fan of Euphoria, I can hardly contain my excitement for the return of this riveting teen drama! Sydney Sweeney‘s portrayal of Cassie Howard has been nothing short of captivating, and her enthusiasm for the upcoming third season only serves to heighten my anticipation.
Actress Sydney Sweeney, best known for her role in Euphoria, has shared insights regarding her character’s continuation in the upcoming third season and the anticipated leap forward in time.
Production for the third season of Euphoria is set to start in January 2025, marking a three-year gap since the second season was made available.
Due to delays during post-production, it’s expected that the release date will be moved back even more. As a result, the plan for the next episodes to depict a time jump won’t necessitate the adult cast to act as teenagers anymore.
In a recent chat with Cosmopolitan, Zoey Sweeny, known for her role as Cassie Howard in Sam Levinson’s teen drama, shared insights about the show’s comeback. She referred to the time leap as a fresh journey for her.
She mentioned that there was quite a gap between seasons one and two, and with the recent time leap, it’s become a fresh journey for her.
As a budding enthusiast, I find myself navigating the road less traveled, eagerly embracing each new experience that comes my way. And let me tell you, the thrill of anticipation is palpable!
“I adore Cassie. She’s an exhilarating role to embody, which makes me eagerly anticipate the developments in her storyline.”
Regarding what she’s excited about upon going back to set, the renowned actress expressed that it feels like returning to her family whenever she reconnects with her fellow cast members and the team.
As a budding gamer, I can’t forget the pioneers who stood by my side during my early gaming days. Each of us hailed from distinct corners of the digital realm, but we managed to forge a bond as we navigated the intricate maze of challenges together. It feels heartening to have that original team still with me on this journey.
“They’re experiencing a similarity to what I’m going through. It’s nice to have that community.”
Sweeney is set to appear alongside his co-stars from the previous seasons, which include Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, and Alexa Demie in season three.
Euphoria airs on HBO in the US and on NOW and Sky Atlantic in the UK.
