The independent Xianxia RPG from NetEase Games, known as “Sword Heart: Carved Dragon” (or “Sword Heart and Carving Dragon”), is planning to go beyond its original blueprint. The game is scheduled to launch on mobile devices, with potential availability on additional platforms. However, specifics like the release date or global version have yet to be disclosed.

The creator of the game, who goes by “Gongchangjun,” has lately shared a picture showing emblems from various platforms including Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch 2, and Harmony OS. Although there hasn’t been any official announcement yet, this suggests that the possibility of the game being launched on these platforms in the future is quite high.

As stated in the same article, this upcoming game is an independent Role-Playing Game (RPG) set within a brand new Xianxia universe. It offers a unique narrative and an engaging sword combat experience. For those unfamiliar, Xianxia is a genre of Chinese fantasy that emphasizes themes of resilience and longing, focusing on the adventures of a martial artist or swordsman.

Beyond this, the team is reportedly putting in a lot of effort to introduce innovative aspects to the game, such as motion capture technology, fully voiced dialogues, and an exclusive combat system. However, at the moment, there are no gameplay visuals to share other than a few conceptual artworks. Despite the difficulties encountered during development, they aim for this game to pave the way for Chinese RPGs and provide a novel gaming experience for us all.
