Suzi Taylor: Former The Block star and Penthouse Pet arrested again just days after being released on bail
As an ardent fan who has followed Suzi Taylor’s rollercoaster ride of fame and infamy for years, it’s hard not to feel a mix of emotions when reading about her latest brush with the law. From her controversial stint on The Block to her wild antics and scandalous love life, she has always been a captivating figure in the Australian entertainment scene.
Previously competing on The Block, a woman has once again found herself in the hands of law enforcement due to a series of newly filed accusations against her.
53-year-old Suzi Taylor, a former reality TV personality who later worked as an escort, was taken into custody following accusations of possessing methylamphetamine in Southport, located on the Gold Coast, on Thursday.
According to reports by The Gold Coast Bulletin, authorities claim the ex-celebrity had been operating a vehicle without a valid license and failed to pull over when police attempted to stop him on Stapylton Jacobs Well Road the previous day, which was Wednesday.
Previously featured as a Penthouse Pet, Suellen Jan Taylor (her real name), faced charges for violating a bond agreement she had made on August 1 following her release from custody due to unrelated drug trafficking allegations.

Regrettably, they find themselves entangled in a series of issues that include evading authorities at night, illegally possessing hazardous substances, breaching bail conditions, driving without a valid license as a repeat offender, and failing to halt their vehicle on red traffic arrows or stop lines.
On Thursday, Taylor’s case was briefly brought up at the Southport Magistrates Court, where it was disclosed that she was being kept in a hospital under police supervision.
The matter was adjourned to Friday for a ‘likely’ bail application.
The arrest occurred two weeks following the release of Taylor on bail, who is accused of drug trafficking and other crimes.
Police allege she trafficked heroin, MDMA, meth and marijuana between March 24 and July 13.
Apart from the allegation, Taylor is additionally accused of possessing illegal substances (drugs), firearms, and approximately $55,000, which is believed to stem from drug trafficking activities.
At the bail hearing held on August 1, attorney Michael Gatenby stated that there is minimal evidence suggesting a connection between Taylor and the accusations of trafficking, firearms, and various objects discovered in her storage unit.
He added that the $55,000 Taylor was allegedly found with could be to her career as a ‘high-class escort’.
At that point in time, he stated in court that it is not a debatable or contentious claim that certain famous individuals and others were rumored to be among Ms. Taylor’s clients.
Taylor gained popularity by being a member of the ‘Single Mums’ renovation team, partnering with friend Yvonne ‘Voni’ Cosier, on the show The Block.
Even though the pair placed last on the show, they still walked away with a $349,000 profit.
Her outlandish behaviors, such as the notorious striptease without a top on a boat in Melbourne, earned her a reputation as one of the show’s most contentious celebrities.
In addition to her experience on reality television, Taylor had previously modeled for glamour magazines, featuring in explicit photo sessions, and has also delved into acting, with an adult role in the 2003 crime film titled “Gettin’ Square.”
