As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I must say that Suzan Mutesi truly stole the show at the Australian launch of Takamaka Rum. Her unique take on preppy-chic fashion was not only daring and playful but also incredibly stylish. The way she effortlessly combined a cropped pastel-blue top with a striped shirt, navy tie, denim jeans, an embellished jacket, baseball cap, and green nails was nothing short of inspiring.
On Saturday, Suzan Mutesi shone brightly at the Australian debut of Takamaka Rum held at The Island.
An Australian social media personality, followed by over a million people on Instagram, attracted attention with her bold and lively interpretation of the preppy-stylish trend.
The actress and society figure made an impressive statement wearing a short, pastel-blue blouse over a striped undershirt, adding a navy tie to give a daring spin to the traditional style.
Instead of pairing her top with relaxed denim jeans and a decorative jacket, she accessorized it with a fun baseball cap and nail polish in a bright green shade, adding a unique touch to the overall look.
Suzan was joined by model Dylan Mahoney at the event.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I had the pleasure of attending the dazzling launch of Takamaka Rum, where I was surrounded by influential figures and the unexpected presence of renowned UK podcaster, Chris Williamson.

Chris appeared on the first series of Love Island in 2015.
Since 2018, he’s been the host of the Modern Wisdom podcast, an immensely popular show that has garnered over 400 million downloads.
While guests enjoyed themselves, they were served signature drinks made from top-shelf rum, while taking in breathtaking vistas of Sydney Harbor and socializing with influential figures within the industry.
Hailing from the beautiful islands of the Seychelles, Takamaka Rum, a spirit dedicated to sustainability, is creating a splash in the beverage world through its eco-friendly approach to distillation.
The rum is crafted using local ingredients and minimal environmental impact.
At the gathering, Dispatch’s co-founder Aaron Shuttleworth shared his thoughts, stating: ‘Today’s unveiling is all about honoring creativity and eco-friendliness, and we’re excited to introduce Takamaka to the consumers of Australia.’
Dispatch, the brains behind the event, is quickly becoming a force in the premium spirits space.
The firm has garnered attention due to its impressive collection, comprising of Two Drifters – recognized as the globe’s initial carbon-negative distillery – and Supergay Vodka, slated to be the main attraction at a Mardi Gras event in February.
