In a shift from his iconic role as Merlin, the lead actor was cast in a legal thriller premiered on Paramount+ in 2023. This new series finds him playing John Webster, a character accused of harassment and stalking towards his former lover.

This show is stunning, with an engaging storyline filled with unexpected surprises. The ensemble cast does an exceptional job, particularly Emma Appleton as Ingrid and Colin Morgan as John Webster. Their performances generate a palpable emotional pull that leaves viewers yearning for more.
As a gamer, I’d say, “This series had an intriguing atmosphere, but the storyline seemed to lack direction in the end. One viewer even described it as a chaotic mess, filled with complex plot twists and characters that were hard to root for because they felt unrealistic and unlikeable.
Currently, “The Killing Kind” is gaining popularity on Netflix. Recently, Netflix has introduced a new crime drama, yet to be titled, from the creative mind of Charlie Brooker, who is also known for creating “Black Mirror”. This upcoming series has managed to attract Paddy Considine, Georgina Campbell, and Lena Headey to join its cast.
