Additionally, she shared her thrilling future job aspirations, hinting at a few intriguing ventures she’s working on behind the scenes.
Susie explained that she intended to remain with the Nova family, confirming her decision, and also mentioned that she would take a break from formal education for a year.
‘But I’ve signed up to do some podcasts and fill-in work.’
Following her heartfelt goodbye, Susie skillfully wore a resilient expression while she began to operate the DJ console at the gathering.
In a black Nova t-shirt and white shades, she showcased her finest features during what would be her last episode on the show.
Nova have already revealed who will be replacing fan favourite Susie on the breakfast program.
On Wednesday, it was shared on the radio network that the contentious comedian Nikki Osborne is joining the Nova 106.9 Brisbane morning crew as a fresh member.
In 2025, a fresh television program called “Ash, Luttsy & Nikki Osborne” is set to debut, bringing together renowned author and humorist Nikki Osborne alongside Ash Bradnam and David ‘Luttsy’ Lutteral.
43-year-old celebrity from “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!”, referencing her past as a swimmer, expressed feeling “daunting” about filling Susie’s shoes, but is optimistic that the city of Brisbane will welcome her warmly.
She mentioned, “I do find myself in a bit of trouble now and then, but with my brothers Ash and Luttsy around, I’m certain they’ll only help guide me astray more.
Last month, I found myself tearing up as I shared my unexpected decision to step down from my Brisbane breakfast radio gig.
The presenter tearfully told her Ash, Luttsy & Susie listeners she was immediately stepping down.
Susie started by saying, ‘With great difficulty, I must tell you that making this choice was not straightforward. It’s challenging for me to put into words my reasons for departing.’
Having reached the age of 50 recently, I’ve come to understand that I’ve entered a fresh phase in my existence. This upcoming period promises to bring about new objectives, both in my professional and personal endeavors.

From 2013 onwards, she’s become a frequent face on Nova. Initially, she worked there as a sports broadcaster, followed by her role as co-host with Ashley Bradnam, Kip Wightman, and David Lutteral on their breakfast team.
