Susannah Constantine’s cheeky nap in Egypt: Love, laughter, and 30 years of marriage
Susannah Constantine dozed off in a playful photo while vacationing with her husband during their revisit to their honeymoon spot in Egypt, which they haven’t been to for thirty years.
62-year-old television celebrity dozed off, minus pants, in a photograph captured by her dear companion Sten Bertelsen during their 12-day river voyage along the Nile as they celebrated their anniversary while sailing.
After a busy day filled with exciting activities like a romantic camel ride near the pyramids of Giza, Susannah unwound in her luxurious cabin and donned a loose, striped shirt.
She titled her post: “If a friend told me they slept here on a riverboat sailing along the Nile, I wouldn’t have believed them. If someone told me I could relax enough for an unguilty afternoon nap in that very cabin, I would’ve found it hard to believe.
Despite all the mind-blowing experiences I’ve had lately, and with so much ancient history swirling around in my mind, here we are, still persevering at 4pm. It’s quite remarkable!
In spite of the constant mental stimulation and the weight of centuries on my shoulders, here I am, pressing forward at 4pm. Remarkable indeed!
In 1995, she got married to a businessman and together they’ve been parents to Cece (aged 20), Esme (aged 23), and Joe (aged 24). For the past thirty years, they’ve spent their time exploring different parts of the world.

Posting pictures from our camel journey last week, the couple appeared deeply affectionate, leaning in for a tender kiss amidst their camel ride across the desert.
During her outing, Susannah donned a straw hat of cream hue, a crisp white blouse, and green pants. She added a playful touch with a leopard-patterned handbag.

On the occasion of the outing, Susannah sported a straw hat in a soft cream shade, a clean white blouse, and comfortable green trousers. She complemented her look with an eye-catching leopard print bag.
At the same time, Danish entrepreneur Sten shielded himself from the intense sunlight while donning a blue hat, a red scarf, and a white shirt.
Next to the post, she wrote: ‘We’re back at the spot where our honeymoon began about 30 years back. Kicking off a 12-day adventure along the grand Nile, starting right here at the Pyramids.’
Although they seemed content together, Susannah had confessed earlier that she and her spouse had gone without speaking for an entire six months following their wedding, a period during which she worried she may have committed the greatest error of her existence.
In her latest episode of My Wardrobe Malfunction podcast, she asserted that she needed to escort him down the aisle.
During her latest podcast conversation with actress and author Daisy May Cooper, Susannah shared that their married life had a bumpy beginning.
In response to Daisy expressing a longing for her childhood, particularly the summer of 1996 if she had a time machine, Susannah shared that it was the year she got married.

Inquired about whether it was a pleasant summer, Susannah responded: ‘Not at all, it was terrible. After our wedding, I felt as if I had made the most regrettable decision of my existence.’
In the last six months, there was a stretch where my spouse and I barely communicated. To say it was challenging would be an understatement. In the end, with some determination on both sides, we managed to walk down the aisle together, albeit reluctantly on his part.
One night, surprisingly close to Christmas, we found ourselves waking up around 4 a.m. simultaneously. We exchanged glances and, in unison, said, “Everything will be alright.” It was quite unusual. Since then, twenty-five years have passed, and we’re still happily married.
Susannah had a ‘small’ wedding with around 60 people in attendance.
In response, Daisy admitted: ‘I find weddings really f****** stressful, I hated my own wedding.’
In the ’80s, Susannah was a prominent figure, often referred to as a trendsetter or fashion icon. For eight years, she also had a relationship with David, Viscount Linley, who is the son of Princess Margaret.
In the ’90s, the podcast host was romantically involved with Imran Khan, who later became the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Susannah worked in America for designer Giorgio Armani before working for John Galliano in London.
In 1994, the presenter crossed paths with an old friend, Trinny Woodall, and together, they started penning a weekly fashion article titled “Ready To Wear.” They also established Ready2shop.com around the same time.
They became famous for co-hosting the popular TV series What Not To Wear from 2001 to 2005.
