Susan Boyle became famous as a surprising standout on Britain’s Got Talent, and she showed she still captivates audiences at Monday’s Pride of Britain Awards.
The 64-year-old singer debuted a striking new blonde hairstyle while posing for photos on the red carpet at London’s Grosvenor House.
Susan Boyle became famous overnight in 2009 when a video of her audition on Britain’s Got Talent became popular online. For a recent appearance, she paired a new hairstyle with a black and white dress and a fake fur wrap.
The performer was thrilled to be on stage with a fantastic group of celebrities, including Maura Higgins, Olivia Attwood, and Helen Skelton.
In 2022, Susan from Blackburn, West Lothian, had a stroke that made it difficult for her to talk or sing.
Because she’d already had one stroke, she was at risk of having another, so her team had to carefully control how quickly she resumed her public appearances.

Susan has diabetes, and because of this, doctors told her she was at increased risk of getting COVID-19 during the pandemic.
She admitted she hadn’t been very productive recently, but expressed confidence that would improve, saying she always tries to look on the bright side.
As someone managing diabetes, my priority has been protecting my health, so I’ve really limited my time outside. Honestly, getting Covid would have been a serious setback, and I wanted to avoid that at all costs.
Susan’s fans were delighted to hear she’s making music again, and many excitedly commented on her announcement, expressing how thrilled and overjoyed they were.
That’s fantastic news, Susan! We’re all thrilled for you! ❤️ It’s a huge relief, and we’ve been eagerly awaiting this moment!
‘Happy day indeed, for all of us who love and find comfort in your voice.’
It’s been 16 years since she was catapulted to world stardom by the TV show Britain’s Got Talent.
Her album, titled after her hit song “I Dreamed a Dream,” was the top-selling album worldwide in 2009.

Susan achieved a remarkable feat in UK music, becoming the first artist to have three albums reach the No. 1 spot in under two years. Throughout her career, she’s sold an impressive 25 million records.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always inspired by incredible achievements, and one that really stood out to me was when a singer had the honor of performing for Pope Francis at the Vatican’s Christmas concert in 2019. It was a truly special moment for her, and a beautiful example of dreams coming true!
The Pride of Britain Awards celebrated its 26th year, with Ashley Banjo and Carol Vorderman returning as hosts for the fourth consecutive time.
The awards ceremony, which took place at Grosvenor House on Monday, will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX this Thursday, October 23rd, at 8pm.
Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks hosted the red carpet event, which was live-streamed on YouTube for the second year in a row. GK Barry created online content to support the event.
Oh my gosh, it’s been going on since 1999! This awards ceremony? It’s EVERYTHING! They celebrate the most incredible people from all over the UK, people from every background you can imagine.
