Surprise! Tattooed Bachelor star Jessica Brody reveals she has welcomed her first child – after hiding her pregnancy from fans

Former Bachelor star Jessica Brody has welcomed her first child

The 36-year-old revealed she’d secretly been pregnant and welcomed a baby boy, sharing a cute photo of him on Instagram on Tuesday.

Jessica announced her son’s name is Saman Sattari, sharing a touching message: ‘A love like I’ve never felt before. My son.’

She also included a blue love heart emoji.

In the picture Jessica’s heavily tattooed hand can be seen touching her baby’s tiny foot.

The Bachelor in Paradise star opened up to fans about her son’s father and what it was like to give birth, sharing personal stories and never-before-seen photos from when she was pregnant.

Jessica announced she was pregnant, sharing a picture of her positive pregnancy test. She found out she was expecting on February 10th.

She excitedly wrote in her caption that she took a test first thing in the morning, then immediately ran upstairs to wake up her partner.

Jessica continued: ‘It wasn’t flashy or filmed, haha.’

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always fascinated by how parents-to-be choose to learn about their little ones. I recently learned this lovely couple found out the gender of their baby quite early – around 10 weeks! They used a noninvasive prenatal test, or NIPT, which is a really safe and common way to get that information.

‘Because I’m technically an ‘elderly’ mother I wanted to screen for chromosomal abnormalities early,’ she explained.

Jessica revealed in a chat with fans that the father of her baby is Iranian, posting a picture of a bearded man in athletic wear but not naming him.

Elsewhere Jessica confessed that the birthing experience was a challenge.

Honestly, hearing her talk about it just broke my heart. She was asked how things were going after having the baby, and she just… sighed. It wasn’t the happy, glowing update everyone expects. She said everything felt off, that despite trying so hard, absolutely nothing went the way she hoped it would. I just want her to be okay, you know? It’s like all her efforts just… vanished. It’s so frustrating to hear, especially because I adore her and want the best for her.

She added that they faced a lot of significant challenges this week, but wasn’t prepared to discuss the details just yet, though she might be able to talk about it later.

Elsewhere in the chat Jessica confirmed that giving birth ‘hurt’.

‘Pregnancy hurt. Birth hurt. Recovery hurts. Women are f***ing amazing,’ she said.

Oh my gosh, everyone was flooding Jessica with support! It was amazing to see! Even Cyrell from Married at First Sight sent her a message – she just wrote ‘Congratulations beautiful,’ and it totally made my day! I was so happy to see so much love for her.

‘Welcome Saman, we love you,’ congratulations mama’, added another fan.

Gushed a third follower: ‘Sooo precious omg congratulations!!’

Jessica shot to fame on Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor in 2019.

She reappeared on television in 2020 with Bachelor in Paradise, where she briefly dated fellow contestant Ciarran Stott.

Jessica has been keeping her current relationship private, but she’s often spotted online with the same attractive man, sharing photos and videos of them together on Instagram.

I’ve noticed she’s always posting about Sajad Sattari, this incredible 24-year-old Muay Thai fighter from Iran! Seriously, my feed is full of him, and honestly, I’m not complaining. He’s amazing, and she clearly thinks so too!
