‘Superwoman’ Helena Morrissey’s daughter Flo splits from husband: RICHARD EDEN’S DIARY

She quickly rose to prominence in the traditionally male world of finance, becoming a CEO at just 35 years old. She later became a baroness and advised the government, and has also written two books while raising nine children.

Helena Morrissey, often called ‘Superwoman‘ for her career success, openly admits she couldn’t have done it all without the support of her husband, Richard. They’ve successfully balanced their lives and careers, though not always perfectly.

However, the same positive comments don’t apply to Flo Morrissey, her second oldest child. Flo is a singer-songwriter whose debut album, ‘Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful,’ received praise for its elegant and remarkably insightful songwriting.

After seven years of marriage – and following a beautiful wedding ceremony where her siblings performed George Harrison’s ‘My Sweet Lord’ as she walked down the aisle – singer Corinne Bailey Rae and Mercury Prize winner Benjamin Clementine have separated.

Flo, 31, is open about her divorce, explaining that life is full of complexities and multiple truths. She feels comfortable sharing this part of her story.

‘Both wonderful and terribly hard things happen.’

The split is especially sad because, in addition to having two children together, the couple previously performed music as a duo called The Clementines.

Benjamin, now 37, was born in London to Ghanaian parents. His father always made him and his brothers wear suits instead of casual clothes like hoodies and tracksuits, which led to teasing and bullying from other boys who thought he was different.

He left home at 17 and lived on the streets, initially in London and later in Paris, earning money by performing on the subway.

During a summer 2017 interview, he admitted he wasn’t currently in love. Later that year, on Christmas Day, Flo gave birth to their first child.

Jessie Buckley, who won Best Actress at the Critics’ Choice Awards and playfully told her co-star Paul Mescal ‘I love you’ during her acceptance speech, has shared how they developed such a strong connection on screen. Buckley, 36, who portrays Shakespeare’s wife Agnes in the film, explained they did a ‘chemistry read’ – a test to see how well they work together – and fortunately, it clicked. She joked that it would have been disappointing if she hadn’t felt a connection with Mescal.

Daisy’s maid of honour role for bride Ella

They played twin sisters in ITV’s hit comedy drama Cold Feet in 2017.

Daisy Edgar-Jones, known for her role in Normal People, and Ella Hunt have shown they’re still good friends.

Daisy, age 27, played a special role as maid of honour at the wedding of her friend Ella, also 27, and musician Thomas Bartlett, known professionally as Doveman, who is 44. Daisy, now a successful actress in Hollywood, described the wedding as ‘perfect.’ She recently became a brand ambassador for the cosmetics company Estée Lauder.

Ella, seen here with Daisy at the wedding, says Daisy was the best maid of honour ever.

Despite serious accusations of sexual assault, Russell Brand doesn’t appear to have lost his ability to attract income or work opportunities.

The comedian, who is facing five charges and has denied any wrongdoing, earned £4 million last year, increasing his total wealth to £12 million.

According to recent reports, 50-year-old Brand’s wealth has increased significantly. His primary British company is now worth £12 million, a 50% jump from its £8 million valuation in 2024. Brand moved to the US with his wife, Laura, 38, and their two daughters.

Pablo Diablo makes money through his online presence, including shows on platforms like Rumble and YouTube, and channels those earnings through his company, Pablo Diablo’s Legitimate Business Firm Ltd. It’s John Cold-well: phone chillionaire!

What first attracted Olympic cyclist Modesta Vzesniauskaite to the billionaire John Caudwell?

Clearly it’s his toughness.

John Caudwell, the 73-year-old founder of Phones4U, shared a photo online of himself playfully rolling in the snow wearing just a pair of shorts. He has two young children with his partner, Modesta, who is 42.

I was so thrilled to get a message from him – it was from Broughton Hall, his incredible old manor house in Staffordshire. He simply asked if we were getting snow where I was, and then cheerfully announced he was calling it ‘snow-rolling’! It felt like a little piece of his world, and I loved that he shared it.

Despite her success and two Academy Awards, Dame Emma Thompson feels women still face the same level of inequality today in Hollywood and society as they did half a century ago.

The actress claims she faced negative treatment because she’s a vocal woman and activist. She says the message she received was essentially to stay quiet, avoid sharing opinions, and not draw attention to herself.

People often face negative labels – like ‘bossy,’ ‘mouthy,’ or worse – simply for sharing their opinions and refusing to be passive.
