Supernatural TV Show Finds New Streaming Home Starting Today

Prime Video has just added a hugely popular show from the last two decades, and you can start watching it today.

What streaming platform is Supernatural moving to?

The popular fantasy/horror series Supernatural, created by Eric Kripke, is now streaming on Prime Video. After previously being available on Netflix, all 327 episodes from the show’s 15 seasons have moved to Amazon’s streaming platform.

Supernatural follows brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, as they travel the country hunting demons, ghosts, and other creatures. The series tells the story of their exciting adventures and the challenges they face while exploring the dangerous world of the supernatural.

As a huge fan, I always loved the cast of Supernatural – alongside Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, you had fantastic actors like Katie Cassidy, Lauren Cohan, Misha Collins, Mark A. Sheppard, Mark Pellegrino, and Alexander Calvert. It’s amazing to think about how the show really put Padalecki and Ackles on the map! It originally aired on The WB, and it was a massive hit when it first premiered – and continued to be on The CW, of course.

When it first came out in 2005, the creator, Kripke, only intended for the show to last five seasons. But because it became so popular, it continued for fifteen seasons total, with different people – Sera Gamble, Jeremy Carver, Robert Singer, and Andrew Dabb – taking on the role of lead producer over the years.

I was so thrilled when Supernatural started its eleventh season! It officially became the longest-running American live-action fantasy show ever – a truly amazing achievement, and I’ve been a fan ever since!
