Poppy Delevingne has revealed she is pregnant with her first child.
The model, aged 38, is anticipating the arrival of a daughter with her wealthy entrepreneur companion Archie Keswick (age 44). She expressed that becoming a mother has always been her greatest desire.
During the London Fashion Week, it was during a Burberry fashion show’s fitting that Poppy realized she had become pregnant, as her clothing felt tighter than they normally would.
As a diligent devotee, I shared my experience of sensing an unusual change within me. Moments later, I took a pregnancy test to confirm my suspicions, and it turned out that the new addition to our family would indeed be a little girl.
In an interview with ELLE UK, she shared: ‘To be honest, it wouldn’t have mattered to me either way, and when I was younger, I imagined not knowing if I got pregnant. But as soon as we were told we could learn the gender, we did so. I’m thrilled! Coming from a family of many women, I must say, girls are fantastic.’
Poppy’s older siblings, fashion model Cara (age 32) and socialite Chloe (age 39), were overjoyed upon hearing the news from her.
She stated that we were all together in New York, sharing moments with one another and with something bulging, which sparked much conversation and gentle touching. The atmosphere was filled with immense joy.
Poppy and Archie chose to keep their pregnancy a secret initially, revealing it to friends and relatives after about four months had passed.
She openly acknowledged that she was quite anxious regarding her pregnancy, desiring some time to safeguard this new life.
She shared: “It feels incredibly fortunate to me, almost unbelievable, to be in a position where I can have a child at my age and right now. When it actually occurred, I found it hard to accept.
In July 2024, Poppy and Archie made their relationship official by appearing at the BST Hyde Park festival side by side.
Archie is the offspring of Simon Keswick, a previous head of the multibillion-dollar Hong Kong corporation Jardine Matheson, which manages the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

Currently, their areas of interest span from high-end real estate in prime locations of Hong Kong, such as the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, to being involved with Vietnam’s leading dairy production company.
Archie was previously described as a ‘demon on the tennis court’ who ‘loves house music’ by Tatler.
The Eton-educated businessman was named as one of the world’s most eligible bachelors back in 2019.
As a die-hard fan, I’m no novice to the buzz surrounding Archie’s love life. In our shared New York era, he was even linked to the captivating Sienna Miller, who, for a time, shared a roof with him.
