Intriguingly, during his chat with Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused Podcast, Gunn hinted at more Superman ventures brewing behind the scenes. Yet, it seems the next Superman film might deviate from our typical expectations.

Superman, a famous DCU character, is set to make a comeback soon, and given his popularity and the audience’s positive reaction, it seems there may be more of him in store. However, during his recent interview on the Happy Sad Confused Podcast, Gunn clarified that the upcoming Superman crossover will not involve Batman. Instead, it won’t feature a Batman vs Superman showdown or a team-up between the two heroes.

Using The Authority’s strategy of achieving goals through whatever methods are required, the team might stand as a stark contrast to Superman’s approach of safeguarding every life form.

Superman, Supergirl, and Krypto

Superman, Supergirl, and their canine companion Krypto. Based on what we know so far, a team-up between Superman and Supergirl could be very intriguing, and adding Krypto to the mix would make it even more endearing.
